I've adjusted the zone of infiltration in the Kostyantynivka direction to reflect recent information that small groups of Ukrainian soldiers are trapped behind the lines, sitting in positions on the northern edge of Ivanopillya.
The Ukrainian command did not withdraw these soldiers from this area after Russian forces broke into and occupied most of Kostyantynivka, leading to a physical encirclement. These soldiers do not currently pose any major risk to Russian advances, and their presence is insignificant to the ongoing battles.

A series of explosions have been heard in the city of Rostov-on-Don for the last couple of hours as Ukraine carries out a large-scale drone attack.
Heavy Russian air defence activity has been recorded for some time, and a fire has broken out at one of the Ozon warehouses located in the city.
Ozon is the second largest e-commerce and online retail logistics operator in Russia, after Wildberries.
The BBC reports that the US plans to cut off military aid to the Peshmerga force in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Their memorandum of understanding with the Kurdish Regional Government is set to expire on September 30, which is the same day when the last remaining U.S. and allied troops will complete their withdrawal from the region.
Explosions are heard in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast.
The city is under attack from Russian Geran-4 jet-drones.
The drone disappeared right where the ammunition depot was hit earlier.
It either impacted the same target, or was conducting a battle damage assessment before being shot down.
7 Geran-4 jet-drones are flying to Kyiv.
One of them is already over the city.
Explosions continue to be heard in Mykolaiv City from Geran-2/4 drone strikes.

On August 26, around a day before the Ukrainian drone attack, at least 3 Tu-160M and 1 Tu-95MS strategic bombers were visible at Engels-2 Airbase on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery.
The Tu-95MS was seen on the runway, likely either returning from or starting a training mission when the satellite image was taken. All the other Tu-95MS which are used for missile attacks on Ukraine were not present at the time of the attack, and were instead either stationary at Olenya Airbase or being equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles at Ukrainka Airbase.
As I mentioned two days ago, there is a high threat of Russia carrying out another large-scale ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, specifically for tonight between 11:30pm and 3:30am local time.
Russia's smaller attack on Kyiv two days ago only utilised modified S-400 missiles, which were used to deplete the newly-delivered Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles. 9 PAC-3 missiles were launched during that attack (shooting down 7/8 of the missiles), out of the "small" batch that Zelensky reported was delivered. Now Russia has the ability to carry out a larger attack with a much higher interception rate.
As of now, Russia has around 30-35 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and up to 12 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles ready for use in Bryansk, Kursk, and Rostov Oblasts. Kn-23 ballistic missiles may also be launched from Voronezh Oblast, although there is no information about specific numbers for them. It is not known if Russia intends to launch all of these missiles in one attack, or split them up into two more medium-sized attacks. Presumably, S8000 Banderol cruise missiles and Geran-4 jet-drones will also be involved.
The highest threat is to the southeastern, eastern, southern, southwestern, and northwestern parts of Kyiv, as well as areas southwest and northeast of the city, and the cities of Boryspil and Brovary. Other regions being targeted is also not ruled out, although there is no specific up-to-date information regarding this.
The attached map shows the areas of Kyiv City and Kyiv Oblast at the highest risk, based on recent Russian reconnaissance drone activity, previous targeting patterns, and other information. Although, in general, any part of the city could be struck.

Regarding this "surprising" geolocation of a Ukrainian position being hit east of Maliivka, in the Komar direction.
This is not a new advance. I first reported on it around two weeks ago, however, Russia has been bombing this fortification and nearby areas with KAB glide-bombs for nearly a month. Currently, Ukrainian assault groups are attempting to break through further south into Shevchenko, under heavy artillery and MLRS cover.
I think they might be carrying out reconnaissance. They are moving very erratically, changing course every 30 seconds or so.

Ukrainian forces have recaptured the town of Novoselivka, Lyman direction, Donetsk Oblast (Kramtorsk District).
Pre-war population: 1,390.
Total land area: ~3.06 km².
The second battle for Novoselivka lasted approximately 6 months, 20 days.
In the last hour, at least four more Russian Geran-4 jet-drones have targeted Mykolaiv City.
Additional explosions were reported.

Ukraine carried out a large-scale mid-range drone attack on energy and gas infrastructure throughout Russian-controlled Kherson Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Luhansk Oblast, and Crimea.
Targets hit include the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant, one 220 kV electrical substation, two 150 kV electrical substations, twelve 110 kV electrical substations, and 5 gas distribution stations.
Russian Geran-2/4 drones struck a truck depot in the city of Izmail, southern Odesa Oblast, resulting in a large fire breaking out.
At least one civilian was killed and multiple others injured.
Russian Geran-2 drones and Geran-4 jet-drones targeted several more valuable Ukrainian targets, including:
- The CHP-6 Combined Heat and Power Plant in Kyiv (2 strikes);
- A grain elevator;
- 5 logistics centres;
- A warehouse facility;
- A (claimed) technical maintenance and repair point for the Ukrainian military;
- 2 electrical substations;
- 2 warehouses reportedly storing drones;
- A petrol station.
Zelensky claims that a Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber has struck by an SBU long-range drone at Engels-2 Airbase today.
An attack on the airbase was observed overnight, although without any visually confirmed impacts. We will probably see high-resolution satellite imagery emerge soon to confirm whether this claim is true or not.
If true, this would be the second Tu-95MS damaged/destroyed in about a month and a half, with one previously being critically damaged during an attack on July 16.
Multiple Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Slavneft-YANOS Oil Refinery in the city of Yaroslavl this morning, resulting in at least two large fires breaking out.
This has been the 8th attack on the Slavneft-YANOS so far in 2026.
Dobropillya direction.
Russian DRGs have expanded their zone of infiltration, reaching the Novodonetske-Dobropillya highway - the last usable road leading into the city. DRGs also continue to operate along the Dobropillya-Bilozerske Road, while assault groups are operating in the northeastern streets of Dobropillya.
To the south, Russian DRGs greatly expanded their zone of infiltration, entering the industrial zone in southwestern Dobropillya, and the southwestern high-rise blocks. Infiltrations continue in the southeastern private sector.
Elsewhere, heavy fighting continues for the villages of Dobropillya, Svitle, Vodyanske, and Matyasheve, as well as the western streets of Bilytske and the Bilytska Mine. Russian forces have made new advances along the railway line and in the adjacent fields, and are attempting to capture a series of Ukrainian positions along the treeline running south from the southeastern edge of Dobropillya.
Note: DRG infiltrations do not usually mean the area is a grey-zone. Hence why I have put them in the separate "infiltration zone" layer.
Russian Geran-4 jet-drone(s) struck an "Epicentr" Shopping Centre in Zaporizhzhia this this morning, resulting in a large fire breaking out.
