Officials say the service facilitated cybercrime by hosting infrastructure linked to ransomware, information stealers, carding forums, scams, and the distribution of CSAM, while accepting unhosted Bitcoin payments and helping launder the proceeds.
Shortly after the seizure, Virtualine posted an open letter on a secondary domain (virtualine.org) disputing the allegations, particularly the CSAM claims, and stating it could rebrand or launch a new site if needed.

👀 New Telegram 13.0 Upcoming Features
The next Telegram update for macOS is expected to introduce several new features. Here are some of the most interesting additions:
• News Feed and Personalized Recommendations
A new News tab will feature two sections: Added and For You. Users will be able to add their favorite channels to the feed and receive personalized post recommendations by selecting categories based on their interests. The feed will also support search, refreshing, and marking posts as read.
Users with paid messages enabled will be able to generate a special link or QR code that lets others message them without paying Stars. Recipients can simply open the link or scan the QR code to bypass the payment requirement.
Users will be able to customize their wallet cards with NFT Gifts, adjusting their position, size, and rotation. Gifts can also be used as card backgrounds, with additional visual effects such as shine, shadows, and distortion.
Only gifts owned by the user and stored on the TON blockchain will be supported. Gifts already displayed on a user’s profile cannot be used on the card unless hidden from the profile first.
A new dictation feature will allow users to convert their speech into text directly while recording a voice message. Users will be able to review, edit, and send the recognized text as a regular message instead. The feature will use macOS system speech recognition, processing audio directly on the Mac whenever possible.
⚠️ UPDATE: Ledger Confirms Hardware Implant Linked to Drains
Ledger’s official support account on X has confirmed that an unauthorized hardware implant was found in at least one device of users affected by yesterday’s wave of wallet drains. The affected devices were purchased from CryptoBilis.
It appears a Chinese national named Jiaming quietly bought CryptoBilis from its Malaysian ex-owner in March and put him under an NDA contract so he couldn’t publicly talk about the sale. This now suggests the new owner most likely installed the chips in the Ledger devices and drained the victims’ wallets.

A user from the Arab community reportedly exploited a vulnerability for two months, generating over $4.5M worth of Stars and successfully withdrawing $1.5M in total.
ℹ️ How It Worked:
The exploit reportedly involved Telegram’s internal marketplace. First, the user sold a gift to their second account for 100,000 Stars through the marketplace. They then transferred the Stars to a bot before refunding the original sale.
This resulted in a negative balance of 100,000 Stars on the second account, while 80,000 Stars remained on the main account and another 100,000 Stars remained in the bot.

An IntelOps investigation from 2025 revealed that Rey had previously used his mom’s device and identity to complete KYC and then withdraw stolen funds from fraudulent activities directly to crypto exchanges such as Binance and Bybit.
