❗The New York Times called the talks in Istanbul a “tactical victory” for Putin.

When Russia talks about ending hostilities, it focuses on the “root causes” of the conflict. The Kremlin says it wants to establish control over five regions. Putin also demands that Ukraine agree to tough restrictions on its armed forces and abandon NATO membership.

The Istanbul talks were not initially expected to lead to any major breakthroughs. However, the meetings were a tactical advantage for Putin, who was able to initiate negotiations without agreeing to a preliminary ceasefire, which was a prerequisite for the start of dialogue on the part of Ukraine and almost all Western countries that support it.

❗️Russian Railways reported on the heroic act of a train driver who tragically died as a result of a bridge collapse in the Bryansk region.

Pavel Mishin immediately applied emergency braking upon noticing the obstacle and ordered his assistant to take cover in the engine room. By sacrificing himself, he was able to reduce the speed of the train by the time of the collision and save hundreds of passengers' lives.

🔹Russia has handed over a draft memorandum on the settlement to Ukraine. It is detailed and well-developed;

🔹Russia will unilaterally hand over 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers to Kiev next week;

🔹Russia and Ukraine have agreed on the largest prisoner exchange;

🔹The sick and seriously wounded will be exchanged on an "all for all" basis;

🔹Moscow and Kiev will create a commission to exchange seriously wounded soldiers without political decisions;

🔹Russia has offered Ukraine a "specific ceasefire" for two to three days in certain areas of the front so that commanders can collect the bodies of their soldiers;

🔹Moscow and Kiev will exchange soldiers under the age of 25;

🔹Ukrainian military promised to work out a proposal for a ceasefire in certain areas in the near future;

🔹Kiev made a "show for compassionate Europeans" out of the topic of child abductions;

🔹We tried to document all the time - which children "stolen by the Russian Federation" are these, there were no lists;

🔹Children who found themselves in a situation between two fires, they were evacuated, but if there is a family, they are returned back;
