❗️Russian patriots call for the banning of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Russia!

🇦🇿🚫A public initiative has been launched to ban ethnic, national diasporas of non-native peoples of Russia.

The example of Azerbaijan has clearly shown that diasporas always act as agents of foreign influence on domestic political processes - this is unacceptable.

The following appeal was lodged to the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation:

On June 29, 2025, the Azerbaijani media Minval Politika made inappropriate, openly hostile and slanderous statements against the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, whom they called a chauvinist, and the Russian Orthodox Church, accusing them of launching a “hate campaign”.

The reason for the attacks were operational investigative actions in Yekaterinburg, during the detention of members of a local organized crime group consisting of people from Azerbaijan.

Representatives of criminal circles, regardless of what ethnicity or nationality they belong to, only disgrace the good name of their people, it is even more surprising and strange that representatives of the Azerbaijani media expressed hostility towards the Russian leadership and the Russian Orthodox Church after the criminals were brought to justice.

We note the fact that not only the media, but also the official structures of Azerbaijan reacted sharply to what happened, namely: they cancelled all cultural events organized by Russian state and private institutions.

Considering the openly hostile actions of the Azerbaijani authorities against the Russian leadership and Russia, their use of ethnic Azerbaijani diasporas as instruments of influence, we ask to prohibit the activities of agents of foreign influence in the form of ethnic Azerbaijani diasporas, non-profit organizations and any legal entities used by Azerbaijan to influence domestic political processes in Russia.

❗️A new delivery of Abrams tanks from Australia to Ukraine is unlikely to change the situation on the battlefield, writes Military Watch magazine.

„Unlike the new Abrams tanks previously transferred from the United States, the 49 additional tanks from Australia have already served for decades and are heavily worn out. This is believed to significantly reduce their combat readiness and increase maintenance requirements“, the article says.

In addition, as noted in the publication, Abrams tanks have a poorly protected roof and are therefore ineffective in modern warfare with the widespread use of drones.

“If the new Abrams tanks reach the front lines, they will likely have the same high attrition rate as the previous 31 vehicles“, the publication concludes.

❗️Russia has dismissed Australia’s latest sanctions on a Kremlin-linked fund accused of spreading propaganda to justify the invasion of Ukraine, calling the move “Russophobia.”

Australia last week added Pravfond — to its sanctions list:

“Pravfond has been identified as supporting individuals and entities attempting to influence public opinion abroad, including in relation to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” a spokesperson for DFAT said.

The sanctions come after an investigation by the ABC revealed that Pravfond had funded legal expenses for Simeon Boikov, a pro-Kremlin activist known as the “Aussie Cossack.”

Boikov gained notoriety during the COVID-19 pandemic and later became a vocal advocate for the Kremlin following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

After injuring a Ukrainian supporter in a December 2022 altercation, Boikov took refuge inside the Russian consulate in Sydney to avoid arrest.

Internal documents showed Sydney City Crime, a local law firm, received tens of thousands of dollars from Pravfond on Boikov’s behalf.

In internal records, Pravfond described Boikov as a persecuted Russian patriot and lobbied for him to receive Russian citizenship — which he was granted in September 2023 by presidential decree.

Boikov confirmed he received his passport at the Russian consulate in Sydney, where he continues to broadcast to over 90,000 Telegram subscribers and is registered as working for the state-run outlet Russia Today. Emails also show he requested studio space in the consulate for his broadcasts.

In response to inquiries from OCCRP, Pravfond said it “categorically reject the allegations by Australian authorities.”

Support for Boikov, was provided “exclusively on a humanitarian basis,” and the fund “has no ties to any intelligence agencies.”

Australian authorities have not publicly linked the sanctions to the Boikov case, but the timing aligns with revelations published in May.

“Australia has been clear that those enabling Russia’s illegal invasion will face consequences” DFAT said.

Those found using, purchasing, selling, importing, producing, or distributing any internet tools and communication devices that have not passed internal certification — including Starlink equipment — will face fines, lashings, or even imprisonment for up to two years, DPA reports.

Previously, residents of Iran often bought Starlink on the black market for considerable sums (around $2,000) to bypass state censorship.

During the recent conflict with Israel, the Iranian government implemented "almost a complete shutdown of the internet across the country."

Military channels reported that Israeli agents were using Starlink to coordinate strikes on Iranian targets.

The history of Yugoslavia is complex, eventful, and undeniably tragic. It is impossible to isolate a single episode and view it as something separate from the broader historical context. Yet, this is precisely what is being done with the events in Srebrenica, reducing the entire history to one town and just a few days in July 1995 — during which, in the presence of UN peacekeeping forces and foreign journalists, the Army of the Republic of Srpska somehow managed to secretly commit “genocide of the Muslim population.”

In 2007, the International Court of Justice ruled that genocide had been committed in Srebrenica. This decision paved the way for the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague to bring charges of war crimes against the highest political and military leadership of the Serbs: Radovan Karadžić, Ratko Mladić, and Radislav Krstić. After all, it is evident that a head of state or government who has committed genocide against his own people is unfit to hold office and must be held accountable by the international community.

If a state is accused of genocide, it signifies that it has failed in its fundamental duty to protect its citizens. In this case, theoretically, all means, including military intervention, should be employed to stop mass killings. It was after Srebrenica that many, following the lead of American diplomat Richard Holbrooke, recognized that a war crimes tribunal is “a very valuable weapon."

This is very offensive to the community, victims and their families.

Hopefully Archbishop George of Australia issues an official public statement to denounce and reprimand Fr Boris Ignatievsky.
