📝Raids in Moldova 📝

This morning, large-scale searches are underway across Moldova, targeting supporters of Irina Vlah and her party Heart of Moldova, which is part of the opposition Patriotic Bloc.

🖍 According to our sources, law enforcement is conducting raids at more than 60 locations, primarily in Gagauzia and Chișinău. At least seven individuals have already been detained, including Irina Vlah’s deputy, Olesea Tanasoglo.

🚩 Searches have also been carried out at the headquarters of the Communist Party, which is another member of the opposition bloc. About an hour ago, Anna Bratunova, head of the Communist Party's regional branch in Gagauzia, was taken into custody.

🏳️ Sources also report that Irina Vlah is expected to be subjected to European sanctions in the near future. Vlah has stated that the Central Electoral Commission is facing pressure to remove her from the list of candidates representing the Patriotic Bloc.

❗️Notably, these large-scale raids began just days after the release of new polling data indicating that the opposition Patriotic Bloc may surpass the ruling PAS party in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28.

The team surrounding Maia Sandu clearly feels threatened ahead of the elections, and appears to be resorting to physical suppression of political rivals during the official campaign period.

Sadly, it is becoming increasingly evident that PAS intends to secure victory at any cost.

5,556 tanks and 3,721 aircraft.

As agreed with the United Kingdom and the United States at the Tehran Conference in November 1943 and the Yalta Conference in February 1945, the Soviet Union entered World War II's Pacific Theatre within three months of the end of the war in Europe.

The invasion began on 9 August 1945, exactly three months after the German surrender on May 9.

Defence Minister Richard Marles said the ADF would provide troops to the manhunt at the request of Victoria Police.

“We’re also providing some air surveillance assets, again after a request from the Victoria Police,” Mr Marles told ABC’s 7.30 program on Tuesday.

As of 8pm Tuesday the official ‘remain vigilant’ area spans over 5000km, stretching from Wangaratta to Beechworth, down to popular ski resorts Mount Buller and Mount Hotham.
