Today Romania scrambled combat aircraft due to a Russian drone in its airspace. According to current data, the drone penetrated about 10 kilometers into Romanian territory and operated in the NATO country's airspace for about 50 minutes.

Also today, Poland deployed a military response to the threat of Russian strike drones.

The Russian military clearly understands where their drones are directed and how long they can stay in the air. The routes are always calculated. This cannot be a coincidence, a mistake, or the unauthorized actions of some lower-level commanders.

❗️Ex-cop Daniel Keneally falsely claimed Luke Moore threatened to kill him during a phone call to Newtown Police Station in 2021.

A man wrongfully imprisoned on the back of false claims made by the son of former senator Kristina Keneally has been awarded $450,000 in damages.

The State of NSW has been ordered to pay Mr Moore's legal fees.

Keneally was subsequently charged and convicted of fabricating evidence about an alleged death threat.

❗️Thousands of people across Australia and from across the political spectrum rallied on Saturday, marching through the streets of capital cities.

Groups protesting for Indigenous sovereignty marched through city streets voicing their opposition to racism and anti-immigration views.

About 3,000 people marched through Sydney's CBD against government corruption, organised by several splinter groups.

A large police presence monitored the rally, which saw several busy streets closed between Town Hall and Sydney's Hyde Park.

Rising tensions in the political climate drew concern from NSW Premier Chris Minns, who said he was wary of "political opinion turning into political hate".

Mr Minns said political violence was "the last thing we need in New South Wales".
