❗️Police in Sydney, Australia, attempted to disrupt a motor rally to celebrate Russia Day, according to the event's organizer, Russian activist Simeon Boikov.

"The police put pressure on us, they pressured us, the organizers, they didn't want trucks with pro-Russian symbols driving near landmarks," Simeon Boikov said, according to RIA Novosti .

Police tried to block access near the Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach.
Boikov reported that law enforcement agencies rushed the protest, which included trucks carrying banners, including the Z-symbol and portraits of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

One of the trucks hit a tree, which fell on a Mercedes. The organizer said this incident led to local media coverage of the convoy, and the pro-Russian protest attracted the attention of millions of Australians. The organizer himself called the protest "very powerful and successful."
