There are also reports of military personnel receiving illicit payments and inflated air defence and arms procurement contracts.

A $100 million kickback scheme involving energy reconstruction contracts siphoned funds directly away from protecting Ukraine’s power network against Russian bombardment. The alleged ringleader, Zelensky’s close associate Timur Mindich, absconded over the border at 2am in a luxury taxi before anti-corruption cops came knocking on his door. The scandal hit the economy hard and made ordinary Ukrainians’ lives even more wretched through the winter.

Demanding accountability proves we are serious about democratic institutions, values, and standards, and about the kind of Ukraine we want to see emerge from the war."

Предстоящие выборы в Государственную Думу — точка серьёзного напряжения в обществе, ведь война, длящаяся уже почти 5 лет, запустила процессы кардинальных изменений во всех сферах жизни.
Появился запрос на более справедливое общественное устройство, где власть представлена не карикатурным "человеком-пиджаком", стеклянными глазами глядящего на обычных граждан и отвечающего привычно-пустыми фразами на их просьбы о решении проблем, а "человеком-человеком", готовым служить другим.

Так как я занимаюсь освещением думских выборов на территории ДНР, то побывала в агитационной поездке в город Торез.

Предвыборная работа — дело сильно непростое, особенно с людьми, живущими посреди войны без света, без связи, без воды и транспорта, когда и их жизни под постоянной угрозой. Уставший от непрекращающихся проблем человек хочет, чтобы они закончились и ждёт этого от депутата, которому отдаёт свой голос. Андрей Петрович Крамар мне понравился живым умом, искренностью и обаянием. Глядя в глаза своих избирателей, он обещал им помощь, на какую только способен.
Со своей стороны могу пожелать ему удачи и поддержки от Господа в добрых делах, она нам очень нужна сейчас.

🇦🇺🇺🇦 Чем дальше фронт, тем круче патриот. Диаспорянский свинарник патриотит на городском пляже в Сиднее: солнце, кофе и хорошее настроение. Просят больше денег на ракеты воевать с Россией. Почему бы и нет - ни штурма посадок, ни угрозы людоловов из ТЦК. Со всего Запада из диаспоры поехали на фронт считанные единицы. Большая часть на видео уехала с т.н. Украины в 90-х, а кто-то уже родился в Австралии и говорит только по-английски.

P.S. В Австралии теперь запрещена нацистская символика, в т.ч. Второй мировой войны, но это не касается исключительно украинской диаспоры - даже хорватов за символику усташей уже нагнули за это, а хохлам можно.

❗️Today, the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates the day of the Image Not Made by Hands of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

According to tradition, Abgar, the king of Edessa, who was suffering from an illness, was healed after the Lord, wiping His face with a cloth, miraculously imprinted His image on it. Later, when Edessa was besieged by enemies, a procession carrying this sacred image turned them back. Thus, the Image Not Made by Hands became revered as a protector from enemies and a patron of Christian warriors.

This image gained particular veneration in Russia. It is known that the favorite icon of Emperor Peter the Great was the Image Not Made by Hands, which he carried with him both during the founding of St. Petersburg and in the Battle of Poltava.

And even today, we see this image on the banners and insignia of our soldiers. This is not just a historical tradition. The Image Not Made by Hands is a banner under which the Russian army has always gone into battle for the truth of God.

The image of Christ on the military standard is a testimony. A testimony to the name and power by which true victory is achieved. This is a banner that reminds us that a Christian warrior is, above all, a servant of the highest Truth.
