hehe, what can I say, I like the red look and it caught my eye when I was getting my first gear.

I'll be shifting to a more customized hood and accessories with a different color scheme in the near future, but I'll definitely revisit the red every now and then.

I'm a shapeshifting tanuki after all =^_^=

I'm finding pretty wild some of the similarities I'm seeing in what the pup headspace has been like for me so far, and what several others are saying it's like for them as well.

Like just letting go and being in the moment, more reacting instinctively than overthinking stuff... Crazy how that works.

It’s the same for me, I struggle with anxiety, but being in pup space lets me do things I wouldn’t normally be able to!

i can see that as well. It does take getting used to and it's def not for everyone (wearing a walking carpet that overheats is not easy, lol). It's a different headspace as well.

At least, for me putting on a pup hood and gearing up hits differently--but equally satisfying. Just fulfils a different need I didn't really expect I had, lol

Pup headspace is perfect for me. I have a panic disorder and am just generally a super anxious person. Being able to let go of constant anxiety and just live off instinct in the moment with zero stakes is freeing.

I get that — but the few times I've tried a fursuit, the discomfort of the suit and the difficulty of navigating in it added with pressure to "perform" only made it more stressful

Like, I realized I was getting overstimulated at events and pupping helped me to more easily filter out way more of what was going on and just focus on one or two things

Hey all, good morning! Just wanted to say that this weekend was amazing and I had a great time attending my first in-person pup event and getting to frolic around with some local pups.

It's something I've been meaning to do for a very long time, but it took a recent tragic event to serve as a wake-up call and kind of give me that final push I needed.

I'm not great with names, but thanks to those pups I interacted with and made the weekend extra special. Hope to see you all around more often at local events.
