there will always be a jackass or two, sadly, but most cons are totally fine with pups (with a few notable exceptions, but those are specific cons; not the fandom as a whole).
But around here, don't think that's been an issue. 😊
I had that same question and decided it's easier for me to keep just one Telegram account for furry and pup. I do have a separate AD account for purely NSFW stuff, but that's different.
Not sure I would call furries prudish, tho (at least, not most of the ones I know, lol)

I do both on one account to help normalize the pup community to the more prudish furries but it’s up to your preference. If you don’t want too much fuss, do separate for sure 👍

Oh for sure! Many aren’t but there’s always a handful that are loud and proud about making a stink when it comes to pups. I’ve heard too many nasty comments in passing at furcons when pups come out “too early” in the day -w-,
