🇺🇸❌🇾🇪📱 — The editor-in-chief of Neoconservative outlet The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, was accidentally added to a Signal group chat used by senior members of the Trump administration’s national security team, including Vice President JD Vance, National Security Adviser Michael Waltz, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The group was set up to coordinate U.S. military operations targeting Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen.

On March 15, before the strikes were publicly announced, the editor received detailed messages outlining the planned operation—covering weapons, targets, and timing. Though initially unsure if the messages were real, he later confirmed their accuracy as events unfolded exactly as described.

Goldberg says that, despite initially doubting about the veracity of the group, then noticed that the plans were actually real and legitimate when reports of bombings against Houthi terrorists emerged, which aligned with the messages he had received confirming the operation.

At the The Atlantic article, Goldberg quoted that he didn't include some texts from the group, because leaking the information could have obstructed or caused problems for American operations and active-duty personnel, specially on US CENTCOM area
