if you vault an asset- they hold the key but not you. thats a basic things we should get back to.
Earlier it was this way, those who held Coval in time-locked vaults, could mint for a high discount and break vaults free.
I havent even looked of what they did, but i know those time-locked covals are worthless now. i guess they abandoned the coin, and moved to another branding. leaving all the investors behind stinking with worthless coins.
On top of that, no discounts are given to those who have those time-locked vaults and as a cherry on the cake they blocked the off-ramp so nobody could run away without paying them.
Problem is, that most likely legacy vaults are opened via outdated emblem dot finance website.
Try copying your Vault ID, then open Emblem(dot)Vision and open any vault. Replace the Vault ID in the browser URL with your own Vault ID and press Enter. It should open your vault and allow you to break it.
yeah, you just unvault it, and then add the wallet. you cant convert it to the new vault

they let people to put assets on their vaults, and when people did. they implemented off-ramp fee. how many vaults there are? tens of thousands? ok so multiply that by 20$ and you will get their idea. Emblem and whole their team are just grifters that pulling scams one after another. If there are any good assets that you have vaulted i would suggest to do what ever it takes to bring them home on bitcoin/counterparty chain. as later they can come up with other plans of how not to let you away.

shortly, they scammed all the people on coval time-lock vaults.
and they are now scamming them twice making them pay on their leave, by implementing 20$ vault breaking fee.
at the moment they charge maybe 5-20$ to open it just as a fee. depending on collection. they trapped all the people, monetising the off-ramp.
to break a vault would require to pay a fee to emblem team and to pay the network fee additionally. safe to say they scammed all the people.
emblem dot vault just redirected me to emblem dot vision, but there was no problem opening it there
