If you want some feedback on your bot, post the username here

IIRC owners can leave their group without being replaced, and if they rejoin they still have full permissions

I know there is a way to get the internal link telegram uses for files

Bot Development

13 June 2026 18:57

Yeah, this is a general issue with miniapps as well, and any bot that generates a link that can be tracked..

Bot Development

13 June 2026 18:42

Okay every time I forward something to it, I get a different link

Bot Development

13 June 2026 18:33

It kinda leaks your IP tho. 99% of people will open the link they just generated. The bot dev now has a way to connect each telegram account to an IP with very high certainty that it is in fact the same user.
With the IP you typically also leak approximate location.

Bot Development

12 June 2026 15:00

Did you receive the link?

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:57

Where does the link come from? Is it Telegram's internal link?

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:54

Well, there's a bug. It thought I hadn't pressed start

I would need another phone which I don't have so. Testing it with strangers is also good
Someone already tested it and it worked so problem solved lol

Bot Development

07 June 2026 19:54

And I said don't try to buy anything just see if it works or not lol

Bot Development

07 June 2026 19:52

It's not advertisement bruh I literally said try if it works or not lol but fine

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this message is a bit off-topic. I'm looking for Telegram bot developers to join the beta testing of my bot and provide feedback to help improve it.

In return, you'll also have the opportunity to promote your own Telegram bots to the community for free.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a private message. Thank you!

Telegram always designates one non-bot member of every supergroup as that respective group's owner, with full permissions, right?

Bot Development

13 June 2026 19:33

I use a VPN for telegram anyway

Bot Development

13 June 2026 18:49

Probably on some VPS but that doesn't change anything

Bot Development

13 June 2026 18:40

But they said they don't host it themselves

Bot Development

12 June 2026 15:01

After I sent it twice

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:58

From the telegram ID message

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:56

Are you just hosting the file on your own web hosting?

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:50

That looks pretty useful

Bot Development

12 June 2026 14:01

I'll share my bot with you so you can tell me what you think.

Bot Development

07 June 2026 19:55

I mean, you can easily test that yourself

Bot Development

07 June 2026 19:53

The bot is a form for you to be paid to make bots for people

Bot Development

07 June 2026 19:52

Yeah I'm not going to allow this. It's a thinly veiled advertisement
