Or basically implement an "undo" function for anything.

Oh that's already ruled out, but a sudo would do /warn and then a user would react 😭 and be warned again lol, not quite the intended effect. Sudos also often mistype shit tho, so "execute on edit" is still in effect deliberately

On groups bigger than 9000, deleted accounts don't show up anywhere and are also not counted on members count.

And on channels they purge channels from time to time from those deleted accounts. You can see people crying on groups because they 'lost' thousands of subscribers every now and then...

All you need to store is a "success flag" on any successfully processed message that lead to a definitive, successful action.
If an admin does /warn "warn message" and this actually triggers a warning, this messages full identifier (group and msg id) should now be blacklisted so an edit will not trigger the action again.
A typo in the command or an invalid argument that didn't lead to a successful action, would be fixable by editing.

I found that the admin warning someone and then editing their message to fix a typo and apply a second warning is not typically what the admin they intended to do, hence why I disabled it
