No this is what I'm currently doing but it's time consuming. This is why we have bots right? To take some of the time consuming jobs off our hands....

You technically cannot hide link form user. Telegram shows it - for transparency reasons - user MUST see what he pressing.

You must find some other way to deal with it.

Is there a bot that hides a group invite link e.g. through a button?

But if you hold that button down it reveals the link. So someone could just write it down if the content is restricted.

I was wondering if there is a bot that hides the link of a button so no one can see the link ??

We are having a real big problem in Australia with groups going down because of rouge group members wanting to bring down other groups for various reasons like

- had a join request denied
- been recently blacklisted
- jealousy
- paranoid and thinks that group owner reported their group
- etc etc

user reporting using the groups available feature and group invite links getting submitted to @AUReportBot is a real problem at the moment.

Not to mention the mass reporting python script tool available to bring down any group, channel, account or bot. Even if it doesn't violate Telegrams terms of service..

Nothing stands a chance with that thing set on you

Anyway Telegram in Australia is holding on by a thread because of this... Its sad

This was mentioned in my original post above, there are 2 ways to bring down a group intentionally

1- user reporting from within the group using the report feature available

2- using a group invite link and submitting a report to @AUReportBot

Direction is - you need userbot to be attached to your account.
The problem is - telegram likes to un-login such accounts periodically.

so probably solution with temporary link is better due to better stability of the whole system

if userbot doesn't suit you, you can add the bot admin in your group, this bot will generate temporary link let say every 30 sec, and revoke old links

you will share the bot link, anyone /start the bot they will get a temp link message that will be revoked in 30 sec
and this message could be deleted in 5 sec 🤣

Hmmm, if it's serious problem as you said, you can try this:

1) make a userbot, you will share the bot link, anyone start the bot, it will send a request to your account (should be admin) and your account will add people to the group

simple, no link, no invitation no nothing, you will be adding people to your group with a real account, but automatically using a bot
