Topics
• Bots now support Topics in Groups.
• Added the fields is_forum and is_topic_message to Chat and Message respectively.
• Bots can send messages to a topic via the new message_thread_id parameter.
• Added service messages about new, closed and reopened topics, each with an optional field in Message.
• Bots can now create, close, edit and delete topics.
• Added chat member permissions for topic management, see can_manage_topics as a field in all relevant classes and as a parameter in promoteChatMember.
Multiple Usernames and Emoji Status
• Multiple Usernames are listed by the active_usernames field in the Chat class.

The Bot Payment Platform now supports payments from more than 200 countries via 4 payment providers.
Three new payment providers have joined the platform since launch:
- Paymentwall, a global provider that works in 200 countries
- Yandex.Money, well known in Russia
- Paycom, popular in Uzbekistan

In the coming Bot API update, the edit_message parameter in setGameScore will default to True (currently defaults to False).
Please consider explicitly passing False in the cases where you don't want the message with high scores to be updated.

We've refreshed Botfather's interface, adding two new commands: /mybots and /mygames. The new interface is based on inline buttons and will keep your chat with Botfather neat and tidy.
We're also adding status alerts for developers of popular bots today. If your bot is getting on the order of 300 requests per minute, Botfather will now contact you if it becomes less responsive than usual. (Make sure it's the real Botfather, look for the 'verified' badge).

Читать полностью…Bot API v.2.1. is here. We've added support for edited messages and new mentions from Telegram 3.9., and introduced a handful of new methods for group administrator bots.
Your bot can now get a list of administrators in a group, know how many members there are in a group and check a user's current status (administrator, creator, left the group, kicked from the group).
If a group starts getting on your bot's nerves, the bot can now leave it using the new leaveChat method.
