Signed in January 2023 from PSV Eindhoven, Madueke arrived at Stamford Bridge as an exciting young talent and made 12 appearances over the remainder of that campaign.
In his first full season at Stamford Bridge, the winger developed into a first-team regular and made 34 appearances across all competitions, finishing the campaign with eight goals.
He progressed further in 2024/25, adding eleven goals as the Blues secured a return to the Champions League and lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Madueke’s growth was reflected at international level too, earning his first senior England cap last September and going on to represent his country six times.

The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from New England Revolution in the summer of 2023 and the Serbia international made 31 appearances in his first season with the Blues keeping seven clean sheets.
Petrovic spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at RC Strasbourg, where he made 31 appearances for the French club.

Sanchez - 8.5: Phenomenal goalkeeping today.
Cucurella - 7.5: Did well to control Doue all game.
Chalobah - 7.5: He advanced the ball very well and was sound defensively.
Colwill - 7: A bit too uncomposed at times. Passing was also a bit sloppy compared to his usual performances, but did get the assist with a nice pass for Palmer’s second goal.
Gusto - 8: Stretched the game wide, which allowed Palmer to drive inside. Good persistence to get the assist.
Caicedo - 7: Usual good performance.
James - 7: Superb defensively.
Palmer - 10: Perfect game from him.
Neto - 6.5: Less effective than usual.
Enzo - 6.5: Looked quite tired and couldn’t impose his game as he usually does.
Pedro - 9: Only needed a single chance and converted that beautifully. Highly impressive how well he adapted so quickly.
SUBSTITUTES:
Delap - 6.5: Got himself in a few good positions, but failed to convert.
Nkunku - 6.5: Decent short cameo.
Santos - 6.5: Showed a few impressive glimpses.
Dewsbury-Hall - 6: Did well to close out the game.
