📝 arctotherium: There are places to test this. Latin America, South Africa, parts of the US. Is it true? No. Not white, but similar problems in Singapore or Hong Kong. What actually works: marriage-oriented patriarchy, which in the 21st century is confined to certain religious groups.

The white-ish Latin American upper-middle class, the best model for "has a servant class," has had low fertility for generations, and the current LatAm fertility collapse is the much larger brown population converging with their norms.

In general "let's have a high-inequality society with a slave class" has never once worked out well in the last 250 years. Europe vs LatAm or Southern Africa in the 20th century should have put this to bed. But some people really desperately crave servants.

🇮🇳 India already has a lot of hubris and unlike China, it has been noticed far too soon. That's bad news for India.

But consider these points too:

1. Despite the Indian economy's size on paper, it still won't be treated at par with the US, China or even Russia. Forget about that UNSC veto power.

2. What just happened between India and Pakistan proves that India is far, far from a major military power. It cannot stand a China-Pakistan equation on its own. This episode was a major reality check for India and has further raised questions over India's status even as a regional Great Power.

3. India cannot match the Chinese efficiency in a 100 years. Once the supply chain is taken away from China as much as possible, India is seen as the next entity to contain. Many already see India as a competitor and the groundwork for India containment is already being laid.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 According to The Economist, Russia is now producing so many attack drones that what once took a month 300 Shahed drones now takes less than three days. Documents suggest plans to ramp up to 500 drones per day.

That means swarms of 1,000 drones could become a reality, overwhelming Ukraine’s air defences already struggling with interceptor shortages and limited Western support.

Already 300 drones in one wave is a lot it's overwhelming as it is. Hitting 500 a day might sound ambitious, but at this rate, we could very well see it within the next 6 to 12 months.

This isn’t just a warning for Ukraine. NATO should be paying close attention too if a future conflict ever breaks out, these swarm tactics could be used far beyond Ukraine.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukraine is also facing increased missile and drone strikes, including cruise and ballistic missiles and Shahed-type drones, aimed at overwhelming air defences. The reported shortage of PAC-3 interceptors further exacerbates the challenge. High-precision missile usage has surged to unprecedented levels, while drone deployments in early 2025 reached record highs. Ukraine needs cheaper solutions, especially for the Shahed-type threat. For missiles, there are no easy fixes. Russia is producing a lot more long-range precision missiles than the West is producing interceptors.

Russia’s strategy is one of cumulative attrition: continuous pressure through relentless missile/drone attacks very often aimed at civilian populations, sustained troop replacements enabled by ongoing recruitment, and increased production of precision munitions. After a brief pause earlier in the year, Ukraine again faces difficult weeks ahead.
