The fight has left his soldiers exhausted and in desperate need of reinforcements they just don’t have.

'We lack people,' he said, but the brigade still manages to kill about 30 Russian troops per day. If Ukraine cedes that land, he said, Russia will use the people and resources from the occupied land 'to fight against Ukraine.'

Retreat, he added, is not an option."

🇨🇳🇮🇷 Scoop: Signs picked up by Western intelligence have raised alarm in Jerusalem that China may be preparing to assist Iran in reacquiring and expanding its surface-to-surface ballistic missile program.

📝 Arnaud Bertrand: There are indeed more and more reports that China may be undergoing a pretty major shift and is now getting more serious in supplying "friendly countries" with serious defense systems.

Heck China itself said so, with the defense ministry recently saying that "China is willing to share military equipment achievements with friendly countries", which is a pretty clear statement.

Apparently they've reportedly already supplied Iran with advanced HQ-9B air defence batteries last month to protect itself against future Israeli attacks. And maybe now surface-to-surface ballistic missiles

This may signal that China is now starting to play a game it always tried to avoid. The Iran attacks may have convinced them that given the current context, when push comes to shove, countries need to know their partners can offer credible deterrence against military aggression.

And it seems to be credible indeed, given Israel's "alarm" at the news

China seeks a strategic advantage in underwater drone technology. While the surface navy is playing catch-up by emulating the still more powerful U.S. Navy, in the underwater realm China is investing more. In particular it is developing extra-large uncrewed underwater vehicles (XLUUVs) more quickly than other navies. The world has largely been oblivious to this, but a major military parade in Beijing will change this. China’s XLUUVs have arrived.

China will mark the 80th anniversary of the end of Second Sino-Japanese War with a grand military parade in Beijing on September 3. A similarly large parade marked the 70th university in 2015. The Chinese Ministry of Defence has already claimed that the parade will “display improved weapons, equipment”. Now images of rehearsals, shared on Chinese social media, have revealed that at least two types of extra-large uncrewed underwater vehicles (XLUUVs) will be among the new systems.

At least 79 planes have offloaded enough men and material at Matan al-Sarra airport, which was renovated by the Russian Africa Corps months prior, for 250 pick-up trucks.

Afterwards, they captured the Northwestern border of Sudan with the aid of the Libyan military, in particular by the son of Haftar (Sadamm). The UAE is hoping to capture the two-years besieged city of El Fasher, before waging a massive battle at El Obeid in an attempt to push the Sudanese military back to the Nile River.

•Strategical(with far away hardpositions-longer flight time but more preperation time)

•Tactical, used by mobile launchers which we already saw, to target infantry, Radars and Concentrations

This would make the most sense, consdering they started using them for both sides and f.e if you have a mobile radar you cannot expect to launch from lets say Primorsko-Akhtarsk to Dnipro and expect the radar to not have moved until it arrives.

Rather you would have mobile launchers stationed somewhere in Crimea, ZP, Donbas that can quickly launch them.

This is another change of doctrine, which came along with Saheds/Gerans being given Cameras.

In the last years Saheds were primarily used to target infrastructure, civillians(eg hospitals etc), and now more infantry positions (near Pokrovsk), Radars and Concentrations

After Russian infantry units began storming northern Kupyansk city last night, the Ukrainian defensive lines east of the Oskol River began to crumble. Russian forces captured an incredible 87 sqkm of area. Multiple fortifications have fallen to Russian control.

Note, the area captured is not only some of the most densely trenched territory, but Russia had been unable to move the front in this area for well over 12+ months - until now.

Fighting has begun for the large town of Petropavlovka.

The move follows Beijing's concerns over a potential "backdoor" in the H20, an allegation Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has rejected.

The report comes from the Financial Times, which states that regulators at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) instructed tech companies, such as Alibaba and ByteDance, to explain why they need H20 chips instead of sourcing domestic alternatives.

I don’t know about the role for sure but given the relatively smaller size, the tank should rely more on active protection rather than good old armor.

Hence we can see a wide range of sensors related to self-protection and situational awareness.

Also despite having a hatch on top of the turret, in my opinion, this is an unmanned turret.

The turret hatch is relatively larger compared to the 2 crew hatches. And the hatch sits between the main gun and the ammo bustle, if manned, it would severely interfere with the operation.

Adding the fact that there’s no periscope around, that turret hatch is most likely a maintenance/access hatch.

While the largest—likely nuclear-armed—missiles on display at the forthcoming parade will likely receive the most attention, the smaller missiles of unknown type/designation are of great importance to the evolving regional military balance. The successors to the PLARF's now quite old DF-15 and DF-16 (and DF-11) remain to be seen, and the PLA will have to demarcate the division of roles and responsibilities between the PLARF and the PLA Ground Force at the shorter range end of the spectrum.

🇷🇺🇲🇱 According to British intelligence, the Africa Corps contingent has completely replaced Wagner in Mali. It mentions that AC has around 2,000 members deployed. However, it is not entirely clear that this is actually the case, nor that the handover is fully complete.

Just like in the CAR, Wagner's formal structures were not entirely in agreement with the decision. But replacement doesn't mean they've left, it simply requires signing a new contract and rebranding. Most likely, the majority of Wagner members are now working for AC.

And it's likely that some formal Wagner structures still exist and want to continue operating independently.

The decision to counterattack, requiring the greater number of reinforcements from other areas, instead of trying to just stabilize or contain the Russian breakthrough has now left Ukrainian defenses exposed in the other directions.

While Pokrovsk may have stabilized, the frontline is now moving rapidly in Russian favor in the Konstantinovka, Limen and Kupyansk directions.

Apple had previously pledged to spend $500 billion in the US over the next four years, an acceleration over its prior investments and previously announced plans, adding about $39 billion in spending and an additional 1,000 jobs annually. The announcement will bring Apple’s cumulative commitment to $600 billion, and appears to be an ad hoc bundling of pretty much everything on the income and cash flow statements, including CoGS, SG&A, CapEx, buybacks and so on. The previously-planned $500 billion was said to include work on a new server manufacturing facility in Houston, a supplier academy in Michigan and additional spending with its existing suppliers in the country.
