Well it hasn't been needed to be labelled under the "green energy state budgets" yet because the energy demand hasn't been there. You could get by on other green energy sources with current energy demand without as much up front investment.

Now with chips and AI the future energy demand is gonna be high and the only thing that will be able to do it at scale is nuclear. Hence why the green energy environmentalists will push it in future.

I equate green energy to lower costs which is generally true

Nuclear energy is so far the only "greener" option we currently have to meet future global energy demands at mass scale . Hence why I said the environmentalists will have to support it
