President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team is pushing for the U.S. to exit the WHO on the first day of the new administration, the Financial Times reported. Trump’s transition team did not respond to The Defender’s request for confirmation.
Dr. Kat Lindley, a senior fellow at FLCCC Family Medicine and president of the Global Health Project, told The Defender, “In my opinion, the WHO cannot be reformed. Bird Flu Panic Ramps Up as California Declares State of Emergency
California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday declared a state of emergency for H5N1 avian influenza, commonly known as “bird flu.”

Kubanych Takyrbashev, M.D. is an immigrant from Kurdistan who was living in New York City with his wife and six-year-old granddaughter.
His family received notice over a school break period that their granddaughter, Alessandra, would not be allowed to return to school until she’d received several vaccinations. Up to this point, the child had received none.

Arkansas Looks to Hold Pharma Execs Criminally Liable for Vaccine Injuries
Arkansas lawmakers are weighing legislation that could pierce the pharmaceutical industry’s federal liability shield for vaccine injuries by holding corporate executives criminally liable for “vaccine harms” if they concealed evidence of risks associated with a vaccine that subsequently seriously injured or killed the recipient.

🧬 Will CRISPR Gene-editing Technology Lead to Creating the ‘Perfect Baby’?
One major danger is off-target effects, where CRISPR accidentally edits the wrong part of the DNA, which could lead to unintended changes and potentially harmful outcomes.
There’s also the risk of gene disruption, where altering one gene could have unpredictable effects on other genes or biological systems.
CRISPR is not precise. Similar DNA sequences elsewhere in the genome can confuse the tool, leading it to cut or edit in the wrong places. Even when CRISPR cuts the right spot, the DNA repair process by the cell can introduce mistakes or cause unintended changes.
In the most ominous situation as in the case of editing human embryos, changes could be passed down to future generations, raising concerns about unforeseen consequences for entire populations.
Moreover, CRISPR could be misused, such as creating harmful organisms or “designer babies,” leading to ethical debates about the limits of genetic modification. Precision has been called into question leading to genetic “mistakes.”

For the most part, media outlets have repeated the narrative promulgated by U.S. public health agencies that vaccines are “safe and effective.”
What almost all of the latest news reports neglect to mention is that about six months ago, one of the country’s staunchest, most high-profile defenders of vaccine safety — known in some circles as the “godfather of vaccines” — published a paper suggesting that the “safe and effective” narrative isn’t as ironclad as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claim.

University of California COVID Vaccine Lawsuit Moves Forward, Despite Setback
A class action lawsuit against the University of California (UC) on behalf of employees affected by the university’s system-wide COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward, despite a decision this week by the California Supreme Court that favored the defendant.
The Supreme Court declined to hear the plaintiffs’ request to compel a lower court to revisit its dismissal of one of their key legal claims — that when the university mandated COVID-19 vaccines it violated the Nuremberg Code and California law.
The Nuremberg Code, which is also codified in California law, prohibits experimenting on humans without their full and free informed consent.

🚨 ‘Bombshell’ CDC Study: Kids Who Got Pfizer Vaccine More Likely Than Unvaccinated to Get COVID Infection
Children under 5 who received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines were more likely to become infected with COVID-19 than unvaccinated children who had natural immunity, according to data in a “bombshell” peer-reviewed study by CDC scientists.
Nicolas Hulscher, an epidemiologist at the McCullough Foundation, said the study shows the vaccines “do the opposite of what they’re supposed to do. Instead of protecting against COVID-19, these genetic injections either fail or increase the risk of infection.”
