If you think about it, Linus Torvalds really controls the world.

Most server infrastructures run Linux, like Google, IBM, Whatever... And they invest a lot towards Linux.

So if Linus can make any choice, that just means he controls the world(in a sense). He already controls my fate by changing his mind every merge week. But just to say- he's powerful.

And if he has not much say in this (obviously he can't do anything he wants cuz it's open source and besides every decision has the potential to break thousands of systems), does that mean the big companies have a say in Linux's future?
