"Starting July 1, 2025, gold will be officially classified as a Tier 1 asset, a high-quality liquid asset (HQLA) under Basel III banking regulations. This means U.S. banks can count physical gold at 100% of its market value as core capital. It will no longer be discounted by 50% as a 'Tier 3' asset, as it was under the old rules." Now that banks can account for 100% of gold’s market value as part of their capital reserves, do you think they’ll be more inclined to revalue it? 😉 We think so, since it benefits them.

Metals will move first, so they’re being tokenized. This will increase the value of the blockchains that tokenize them and boost the value of their native tokens tied to them. There are certain stablecoins that will also be backed by gold and can be easily converted into any country’s native currency, leveling the playing field.

my origin story: So i was a crab 🦀 born on ethereum. everything went great until one day they raised the fees. one day, i had to pay 10 dollars for a 100 dollar transfer. i was furious. but my screams were met on deaf ears. they responded with: "you don't matter, ethereum is for the big boys, they don't care about 10 bucks more or less". so i migrated, looking for a new home. scanned and tried many chains, until i ended up settling on solana. i found there were many crabs like me here, together we created masses the size of whales. but then solana got us hooked on memecoin gambling and i developped a brain and transformed into a dolphin 🐬 and i swam to an even further shore (Cosmos)." my point? you want to get the crabs here, and they are not on ethereum. the ones who are still on ethereum, they are loyal big boys. loyal to a fault and they will going under with the ship if they have to like that song from evanescence. they'll never migrate because something is better

you know what rollups are? i'll tell you. rollups is a bandaid to patch a wound. Ethereum is wounded, it's bleeding and it's not stopping. you don't want to bundle transactions at all unless you can't keep with the competition, unless your network is in the Intensive Care Unit.
