After a nice market pump from the recent ETH ETF, BTC is looking like it wants to retrace back to the 21 EMA on the daily chart!
I expect to see a nice short-term period of consolidation as traders sell the ETF news whilst Mt. Gox repayments continue...
For those unfamiliar, Mt. Gox was one of the OG BTC exchanges, handling over 70% of all transactions back in the early 2010's before ceasing operations after a series of heists (950k BTC - $62B USD).
Following the exchangeโs statement on July 5, it established plans to promptly carry out repayments to creditors that is well underway!
According to Arkham Intelligence data, Mt. Gox's current holdings now stand at around 42,744 BTC, after moving over 47,500 BTC to unknown addresses for repayments earlier this morning...
This news alone is enough to shake some traders, however this a short term catalyst and wont affect the markets for too long!

Given that ETH's mcap is about a 1/3rd of BTC's, I expect to see proportionally similar inflows!
This means we could see between 5-6B Usd in the first 7 months of Ethereum ETFs, if we compare current Bitcoin ETF numbers.
