Firstly, it is of the upmost importance to note that @AlanCryptoFrog is no longer associated with or works for the CryptoFrogβs Gems brand in any way whatsoever.
I have been receiving a lot of dm's regarding his where-abouts and current ties to CryptoFrogs. Why has our twitter not been posting anything recently? Why is the main channel not been posting as often? These are dm's I get, on a daily basis...
Tension has occurred between @AlanCryptoFrog and I, me and him just did not see eye-to-eye on many things. Hence, he is no longer with us. Please respect our privacy in this matter.
That being said, on August 8th, he hacked the cryptofrogs twitter, removed me from the degens channel, and the pond. He then demanded that I pay him money, and of course I denied.
I ended up making a new Degen's channel and lounge, which is currently invite only. I have spent countless hours growing the new community and now the pond is once again a truly a brilliant collection of like-minded individuals providing value to one another.

'Pumpfun' is now Dumpfun???
Pumpfun has sold nearly 50% of its accumulated assets, dumping nearly 275k SOL (worth roughly $43M) at an avrg price of $150 ish.
I'm sure ya'll already heard about this... What a co-incidence after our previous post a few days ago, where I expressed my concerns about pumpfun, and similar sites effect on memes and retail liq.
Pumpfun selling these assets has obviously been suppressing the price of SOL, with some people now saying SOL has lost momentum, which I believe can be partial true...
As more and more people find out about this, I am noticing a change in sentiment, almost as if the tides are finally turning!
Will we see a pumpfun boycott in the near future?

Just recently SONY announced they are developing an ETH L2 blockchain called 'Soneium'
From what I understand, the blockchain aims to attract app developers from various sectors, including entertainment, gaming, finance, and much more...
With tons of partnerships already locked-in, and pretty much unlimited funding, Soneium has a chance good chance to really establish itself in this space.
It also shows us that big corp's & conglomerates want to participate in the growing Web3/DeFi revolution, which is overall bullish!
I recommend dyor'ing here. Definitely keep an eye on Soneuim as they are gearing up for their test net launch soon.

Seeing mass adoption from influencers and retail traders, still no one knows how long the hype will last.
Although Justin Sun is still sus, he knows how to push meme's, and paint a bullish narrative. I will give credit where its due.

I've been seeing more and more pumpfun derivates recently and people seem to be over looking the long-term consequences...
Firstly, why do sites like pumpfun, sunpump, etc... even exist? and how are they doing so well?
These kind of sites are specifically designed to attract and retain the attention of traders and degen's, while giving anybody the tools to easily launch without any dev knowledge...
But, what's the problem?
These sites are purposefully designed to remove liquidity from the markets, literally millions of dollars a day in retail liquidity.
They are incentivizing farmer's, giving them an audience, and lowering the barrier of entry to launch. Obviously this is not degen friendly and will negatively affect the meme space over the longrun.
I am literally seeing farmers farming farmers...
Ever heard of the saying 'Don't hate the player, hate the game'? If the players are farmers, it must mean these pumpfun type sites are the game (or) are contributing too it in some extent.
And I understand the opposing perspective, these sites give people more opportunity to make money in one place...
But do the long-term, larger scale, consequences outweigh the short-term individual opportunity? It's up to you to decide.

Hopefully you guys accumulated on dips here, as I told you guys this is a "solid long-term utility project" in our original post.
