⚖️ FTX changed their minds to deprive customers from Russia, Ukraine and China of payments.

The exchange withdrew its petition, according to which customers from «problem countries» (China, Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.) could lose their money.

Context:
FTX planned to introduce a special procedure - if it is difficult to pay funds in a particular country due to laws or sanctions, then:
• The country is recognized as «restricted».
• Creditors are given 45 days to challenge the decision.
• If there are no objections, their claims are written off, and the money is returned to the general trust.

After the pressure of creditors (including 300 Chinese who sued) - the exchange withdrew this plan.
