PSA: Don't overpay on Christmas concert merch import taxes
If you don't care about a few bucks or your country doesn't collect (much) import tax, you can skip this post.
I will keep this short: MMT's Christmas concert merch package value declaration is incorrect - they put the full 89 USD, but that's not the value of the package, because that price includes the access pass to the online concert and VOD.
When DHL held back the package and asked me to declare its value for import taxation, I already suspected exactly this. We don't even get a proper order receipt from MMT that lists items separately. So I sent DHL a copy of the MMT event page and my order summary and argued that the value of the package is actually 89 USD minus 45 USD, because according to the "Tier 2" option, that is the value of the concert+VOD pass.
It was an annoying process, but my proof of value was accepted. If it wasn't for DHL's diligence, I would have paid twice the amount of import tax. Not significant compared to how much I spend on DC in general, but I refuse to waste more money on MMT's incompetence. It's bad enough that they messed up the initial orders, refunded me less than I paid due to currency exchange rates and that we cannot choose the shipping method when DHL Express has a mandatory tax handling fee (here anyways).
Should I complain to MMT? I don't really see the point now, they messed up worse things and don't seem to learn.

I was lucky enough to be able to get VIP tickets to their Australian concert in March!
Gonna be my first ever concert, so, it had to be them.
I have a question for anyone who has experienced a hi-touch with them before.
Are you able to, if I were to provide a pen, get something signed by each member real quick in the like 10 seconds I get to see them, or is it genuinely just purely a total rushed hi bye?
I get to take a group pic too. Is there at all enough time/chance to get signatures or no?
