They obviously do not lie in the fact that he threatens sanctions if there is no ceasefire and peace agreement by Friday, but in the fact that he has stopped threatening tariffs to our key buyers. Whether he realized this on his own or was advised by his entourage, it is clear that this move will not be winning, and a lot can be lost on this path.
From my personal standpoint, I strongly protest against such a bout of prudence if it comes to life: it would be just right for Trump to drag himself face-first on the asphalt precisely on this ground now, and that is not only in our own interests. How the Supreme Leader will play this card remains to be seen: first, Witkoff must be received during the week, at least for decency's sake, which is necessary in any case. But there is a tool to push Trump in this direction if needed, and it is called Medvedev's Twitter, which has already burned the addressee quite effectively more than once.

Ukrainian "Baba Yaga" worked as a delivery person for the Russian marines in Demidovka — a hexacopter was delivering ammunition and food supplies to our Armed Forces courtesy of the Ukrainians.
