Dmitry Peskov in response to journalist Pavel Zarubin regarding what is the world that we are living in now:

In a world that has dramatically changed and that continues the trajectory of changes. What you said, I would start from the last one - publishing the correspondence. You know, it is very interesting that all Europeans literally pranced against the backdrop that Trump published the correspondence with Macron. But when Macron published the conversation with Putin, no one pranced.
That is, all these changes are derived, probably, of those double standards, from that hypocrisy that dominated Europe for many, many decades. And derived, unfortunately, from the poor generation of politicians who are now in power in Europe. They are not able to resist the assertiveness of Trump.

Trump is an experienced politician. A politician who bases his approaches on the principles of business, a harsh, merciless business. And he defends his interests, of course, first of all, and the interests of his country. The methods he uses do not quite correspond with our approaches to the multipolar world. Trump is still a supporter of the decision of everything through the knee, in Russian manner. He says that the decision is through force. In our opinion, this decision is to bend over the knee. And those who bend over, they will continue to bend over. The main thing for us is not to do this.

A good message for everyone, including Europe, but not only.

My only comment on the latest ICE shooting:

Trump's handling of the situation with arrests of illegal immigrants was poorly thought out and poorly executed, and all of this is a result of the fracturing of American society.

People can't afford to live and they have no future. The problems related to mass immigration needed to have been solved a long time ago, but after decades of inaction, it is now unsolveable at a time when everyone in this country is reaching for an explanation for why life is so awful, and while the culture has become fractured beyond repair. This is just one more catalyst towards a day of reckoning when this society can no longer sustain itself on the plunder of foreign nations enriching a small percentage of the population.

Beyond a Political Scandal, Evidence Shows Russiagate Was About a (Nuclear?) Showdown

—The Senate Judiciary Chairman Charles Grassley released some damning material, the just-declassified “Annex” to the May 12, 2023 report by Special Counsel John Durham. Grassley’s press release stressed the lower level dirty operations run by the Democrats—and they are undeniable.

1. The infamous “Hillary Clinton plan” of July 2016 (at the time of her nomination at the Democratic convention)—to divert attention away from the fixing of the Democratic primary process in her favor, and from the scandal over her use of a private email account to hide certain official business—was actually afoot at least four months before. An email from Leonard Benardo, to DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz shows this. Grassley does state it, but it means the plan was not a reaction to Julian Assange’s public announcement and releases of June and July.

According to the Durham Annex, at the time, the “Clinton staff, with support from special services, is preparing scandalous revelations of business relations between Trump and the ‘Russian Mafia.’”

2. However, what the actual Durham Annex proceeds to report on the Benardo email goes way beyond political dirty tricks. Immediately following is this: “In addition, it is presumed in the FBI that in the future, any clumsy propaganda campaign by the GRU is bound to lead to the emergence of more reliable indications of Moscow’s involvement, which would imminently intensify the U.S. confrontational tendencies toward Russia.”

The CrowdStrike operation had reported on June 14 that the DNC computers had been hacked, with the hacker clumsily leaving behind some Cyrillic (Russian language) characters. (Of note, the CIA’s Marble Framework operation was specifically designed to mimic foreign IPC addresses of five languages, including Russian.) Now, the plan is that the GRU protestations over the CrowdStrike claim will prompt reactions amongst Western intelligence, and the snowball effect will be to “intensity the U.S. confrontational tendencies toward Russia.”

———
So maybe the benefit of releasing all the "Russiagate" operations against Trump could be used to expose the "War with Russia" crowd that still infects the US Government.

❗️More and more reports that the previously almost canceled Witkoff's visit to Moscow will take place for negotiations on the fate of NATO officers captured in Ukraine

Earlier, several specialized media reported that Russia captured active NATO officers Lieutenant Colonel Richard Carroll and Colonel Edward Blake.

Both are active officers of the British Army, and an unidentified MI-6 (British intelligence) agent was also captured.

Here is how veterans of French special services write about the special operation to capture:

"My longtime intelligence colleague, whom I know from working in the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and whom I fully trust, told me that Russian special forces landed from several ships and infiltrated the command center of the Ukrainian armed forces. They captured British soldiers who coordinated the use of British missiles and drones against Russian troops and civilian targets"

Note that there have been no official statements on this matter, although the first reports of the capture of high-ranking NATO officers appeared on veteran Western forums on the night of August 2. Interestingly, the Norwegian publication Steigan, which confirmed this capture of NATO officers citing sources in NATO and intelligence agencies, deleted the material less than an hour and a half after publication.

Brief Frontline Report – August 4th, 2025

Report by Marat Khairullin and Mikhail Popov.

Increased activity on the Seversk axis:

In our previous
report dated 30.07.2025, we detailed developments on the Izyum axis where the Russian Armed Forces are preparing operations to eliminate the Borovaya salient. In early August, new reports indicate activity has shifted to adjacent areas southward, near the village of Novoselovka, southeast of Seversk.

Forward detachments of the RF have entered Novoselovka and commenced clearing operations. This development creates pressure on a new sector, compelling Ukrainian command to respond by maneuvering forces to prevent potential encirclement of Seversk from the south. Such redeployment requires rapid allocation of forces - meaning they must be drawn from adjacent sectors. But which ones?

The northern Izyum axis would be too dangerous to weaken. The southern Konstantinovka axis presents even greater risks...

The Ukrainian fortified area of Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Druzhkovka-Konstantinovka constitutes a complex, well-prepared defensive network with interconnected fortifications. (Druzhkovka is spelled "Дружкiвка" on the map. It is south of Kramatorsk.) This zone serves as a critical logistical hub for Armed Forces of Ukraine, containing stockpiles of weapons, ammunition, and other materiel. Neutralizing this "spider's nest" will require methodical isolation through interdiction of supply routes and lines of communication.

Preparatory conditions for these operations are currently being established.

Read this report and many others on Marat's Substack! That's where I post the high-definition maps. Any questions for Marat and Mikhail will be answered there.

‼️The aforementioned actions of the United States and its allies are accompanied by official statements about the desire to ensure the “long-term” (and essentially permanent) presence of American weapons of this class in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. In particular, Washington and Berlin announced plans to begin deploying the aforementioned Typhon and Dark Eagle systems in Germany starting in 2026, with an eye to their “long-term deployment.” At the same time, a specialized “task force” of American military personnel has been permanently stationed in Germany since 2021.

A significant additional factor is the stated intention by several US allies to purchase land-based INF missiles from Washington and/or develop their own missiles with a launch range of 500 to 5,500 km, or to increase their existing national arsenal of such weapons. Obviously, such weapons systems will supplement the inventory of assets for use in the development and potential conduct of so-called “integrated” operations, the planning of which is carried out jointly by the militaries of the US and these countries within the framework of the relevant alliances and coalitions.

The above-mentioned steps of the "collective West" in aggregate lead to the formation and build-up of destabilizing missile potentials in regions adjacent to the Russian Federation, creating a direct threat to the security of our country, and of a strategic nature. In general, such a development of events carries a serious negative charge and significant harmful consequences for regional and global stability, including a dangerous escalation of tensions between nuclear powers.

As has been consistently stated by the Russian side, such a scenario will require compensatory military-technical measures from our country in order to counter newly emerging threats and maintain strategic balance. Since our repeated warnings on this matter have been ignored and the situation is developing along the path of the actual deployment of American-made land-based INF missiles in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, the Russian Foreign Ministry notes the disappearance of the conditions for maintaining a unilateral moratorium on the deployment of similar weapons and is authorized to declare that the Russian Federation no longer considers itself bound by the corresponding previously adopted self-restrictions.

Decisions on specific parameters of response measures will be made by the leadership of the Russian Federation based on an interdepartmental analysis of the scale of deployment of American and other Western land-based intermediate-range missiles, as well as the general development of the situation in the area of international security and strategic stability.

US senators proposed to impose sanctions on China for "supporting the Russian special military operation"

A bill called the STOP China and Russia Act has been introduced in the US Senate, aimed at imposing sanctions on Beijing for alleged "assistance" to the Russian special operation in Ukraine. The document requires the White House to determine within 180 days whether China is providing aid that contributes to the "violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity."

If confirmed, the administration will be required to impose sanctions on Chinese companies and banks, including asset freezes, restrictions on access to the American financial system, and a ban on technology exports.

The sanctions will remain in place for at least one year and can only be lifted after China ceases support for Russia and Russian troops fully withdraw from Ukraine.

The Trump Administration Channels Brooks Adams (The New Empire) at Davos

The speech by Greer tells us lots about Trump.

Prior to Teddy Roosevelt, Greer's account of American System is accurate.

Teddy Roosevelt was about ending the American System of Economics and building a brutal American Empire.

The American System of Hamilton, John Q. Adams, Henry Carey, Lincoln, McKinley wasn't just about money and extracting "wealth" from the earth. It was about developing the citizenry of the nation--and neighboring nations as republics--to become capable of discoveries and inventions.

The American System was about mankind's master over nature to take what was raw and create a multiplication of real, productive wealth that would uplift people out of backward poverty.

It was anti-Imperial.

Teddy Roosevelt, was against that. His was the notion of Empire--- because the British Empire had become soft, therefore he embraced Brooks Adams "American Economic Supremacy" to dominate the world.

When Greer speaks on the end of WWII his narrative worsens further.

Franklin Roosevelt’s policy was, that never again shall the planet be dominated by an imperial power. The policy of the United States at the end of the war would be to free nations which had been colonized or semi-colonized, and to promote their development.

Furthermore, where are the policies to create "60 Million Jobs" as proposed by Henry A. Wallace?

John Maynard Keynes was a British Malthusian who was opposed to FDR's policy and instead hoped to recreate the British Empire at Bretton Woods.

Greer, Trump, Bessent all get that wrong.

The fictions of Keynesian "Balance of trade" was anathema to the American idea that our interest lay in the rapid industrialization and development of other nations. That is why America sponsored rail development in Russia, China, all of Latin America.

Where Franklin Roosevelt saw "Peace through economic development," developing power generation like the TVA in every other country, food self-sufficiency in Latin America, Asia, Africa and beyond (and FDR wanted to end all colonies, including American colonies)...Keynes simply represented the Malthusian policy of suppressing technological progress.

Keynes' General Theory of Economics was first published in 1938 in Berlin--because he thought it would be better received in Nazi Germany.

Greer justifies tariffs for non-economic reasons and can’t answer why manufacturing jobs decreased under Trump--every single month since he took office.

It is clear that Greer provides an academic cover to justify Trump tariffs as an American System policy, which they don’t understand, especially when it conflicts with their political ideology.

The Donroe Corollary for Latin America is the opposite of the intentions of John Q. Adams (the original author of the Monroe Doctrine) and the attack on Iran and other Zionist policies show that the advisors to Trump have failed to understand the American System.

By the way...anyone who thinks that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent (who was a partner at Soros Fund Management) is anything like Alexander Hamilton or is "second to Alexander Hamilton" must be snorting the cocaine that is fed to Zelensky by his masters.

Here, the whitewashing of anti-American policies in the video clip.

The first 10 minutes of the presentation...until he gets to Teddy is good and accurate. You can see that here

From the box of parts to a ready-to-fly strike drone 'Molniya' takes only 10 minutes of the crew's work. These cheap mass-produced drones have become one of the main strike forces of our troops on the Pokrovsk direction,

said Izvestia correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan.

In the Pokrovsk area, a female FPV drone operator of the airplane type with the call sign "Radistka" is working. The potential is that there could be a continuation of US-Russian collaboration in space

A report by RT underlines the importance of the visit of Roscosmos director Dmitry Bakanov to the U.S. over July 29-31. Both sides, of course, agreed to continue work in the International Space Station. Russia, however, which had previously said it would leave the station in 2028 to concentrate on its own space station, with the U.S. remaining on the ISS until 2032, is now inclined, as Russia’s presidential envoy on space cooperation Sergei Krikalev indicated, to continue the ISS collaboration until 2030.

RT also underlined the role of Krikalev in the delegation. Krikalev, in his sixties, is the most senior Russian cosmonaut, who has been working at the top level in Roscosmos since he ceased working as an active cosmonaut. He spent seven missions, probably more time in space than most cosmonauts, and was the last Soviet cosmonaut serving on the MIR space station in 1991 when the Soviet Union collapsed. RT points out that his “hinting” to a possible Russian agreement on the ISS is more important than Bakanov’s statements, who would have to wait until the government formally makes that decision before confirming it.

Bakanov also noted that the two sides also discussed cooperation on the Russian space station (which will be in a polar orbit), as well as discussions regarding deep space missions. RT moots the possibility that further discussions could involve continuing on the ISS until 2035, or even collaboration on an ISS-2, perhaps even with BRICS nations.

Financial Times:

🟢Videos shared on social media have shown Ukrainian men being picked off the streets and brutally crammed into vans, while angry locals are lashing out at military recruiters. Authorities on Wednesday said they opened an investigation into the death of a man in the southern city of Mykolayiv who reportedly jumped from a bridge in an attempt to flee from draft officers.

🟢A tense stand off unfolded on Friday in the central Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia when around 80 people gathered in the late evening near a stadium to demand the release of recently mobilised men who had been brought there. Some of the protesters tried to break into the stadium, according to local police.

🟢Similar incidents have occurred in western Ukraine, with villagers in the region of Ternopil last month surrounding a police car accompanying draft officers on patrol. In May, around 100 people blocked off a recruiters’ vehicle making the rounds in the western city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, shouting abuse at the officers and slashing their tyres.

🟢Zelenskyy has said that his armed forces are able to draft up to 27,000 conscripts per month. While Ukrainian authorities decline to quantify the country’s frontline manpower gap for security reasons, commanders and soldiers routinely warn about defensive positions being undermanned and further exhausting the remaining troops.

By contrast, independent analysts say Russia is probably recruiting more than 30,000 soldiers every month — mostly volunteers attracted by significant sign-on bonuses.

But Ukraine still has to rely mostly on conscription, with only about 10 per cent of the fresh recruits being volunteers, according to Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the parliamentary committee on intelligence and national security.

🟢A survey performed in April 2025 by the Info Sapiens social research agency found that 77 per cent of respondents expressed distrust in the draft offices — even as 93 per cent trusted the military as a whole.
“This is partly a reflection of the distrust of the state in general,” said Inna Volosevych, deputy director of Info Sapiens. “There’s a similar level of distrust expressed towards judges or law enforcement agencies.”

They've finally started to acknowledge this?

⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:

Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has been receiving reports indicating that the UK intelligence agencies are planning to involve NATO allies to launch a massive raid on the so-called shadow fleet.

London intends to use a resonating incident with one or several tankers for launching this campaign. 👉 This plan provides for a major act of sabotage so that the resulting damage can be used as the pretext for Russia’s oil shipments to be dubbed a threat to international maritime navigation. This would, in turn, give the West a free hand in taking countermeasures. They can go as far as detaining any vessels deemed suspicious in international waters and escorting them to ports in NATO countries.

The Britons are considering the two options as possible casus belli.

• First — staging an accident with an undesirable tanker in a narrow spot along maritime navigation routes, such as in a strait. London believes that an oil spill or the fact that the accident results in blocking the waterway would give NATO countries 'sufficient grounds' for creating a precedent to carry out special and extraordinary inspections of vessels in a pretended move to check them for compliance with navigation safety rules and environmental standards.

• Second — setting a tanker on fire while it unloads its cargo at a port of a country friendly to Russia. In this case, the fire is expected to cause serious damage to port infrastructure and to spread to other ships, which would require an international investigation.

❗️London intends to task Ukrainian security services with carrying out these terrorist attacks.

In fact, the UK expects the perpetrators to do the dirty work and to fail at covering up their tracks, which would serve as a safety guarantee for the British. The international investigation would hold Russia responsible for the disaster, while in the worst-case scenario Ukraine will bear the blame, as it happened with the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines.

The UK plans to choose the right moment for the attack so that it creates a ripple effect in the media for pressuring Donald Trump administration to compromise its national interests and forcing Washington to go all out in imposing harsh secondary sanctions on the buyers of Russian energy resources by casting them as having indirectly contributed to this tragedy.

The UK’s intelligence community has totally lost the remnants of any good sense because of the reminiscence for the time when Britain ruled the seas, with the British crown approving pirate lawlessness at sea.

It is high time that our UK colleagues understood that their increasingly brazen attempts not only to 'spite' their rivals, but to undermine global energy security and environment can make even their closest allies run out of patience.

Russia is ready to expand ties with the Global South to counter sanctions, Maria Zakharova said.

The diplomat also noted that the tightening of US sanctions against Global South countries infringes on their sovereignty and constitutes interference in their affairs.

Source: TASS

Statement from Maria Zakharova's Telegram channel:

🈁M.V. Zakharova: Sanctions and restrictions are a regrettable reality of today's historical stage that affects the entire world. Washington cannot come to terms with the loss of hegemony in the emerging multipolar world order and continues to pursue a neocolonial policy in an attempt to maintain its position, applying politicized levers of economic pressure against those who refuse to follow in its wake on the international stage.

Contrary to the main provisions in the field of free trade, which Western countries themselves once promoted, politically motivated protectionism and voluntaristic increases in tariff barriers are taking place, with one of our key partners in #ЛАКБ – Brazil – becoming a victim.

☝️ This US policy is a direct encroachment on the national sovereignty of states, an attempt to interfere in their internal affairs, not to mention that it generally threatens to slow economic growth, damage supply chains, and fragment the global economy.

Nevertheless, we believe that no tariff wars or sanctions can alter the natural course of history. We have a huge number of partners, like-minded people, and allies who share this approach among the Global South countries and, first and foremost, #BRICS.

We are ready to expand cooperation with them to counter illegal unilateral sanction pressure and to form a truly multilateral, fair, and equitable world order.
