Zelenksy is awaiting a US response to the Russian strikes on the energy sector tonight.
In his evening statement, he said that Trump had talked about a one-week energy truce.
However, as Zelenksy noted, the strikes took place four days after its start.
Recall, the Kremlin stated that the agreements between Trump and Putin concerned an energy truce until February 1st.
Trump spoke of a one-week truce, but did not specify the start date of it.
So far, the US President has not officially commented on the situation.

Ukraine, the USA, and European countries have agreed on a multi-level plan to support any future peace agreement between Moscow and Kyiv, writes the Financial Times, citing sources.
In the event of "constant violations by Russia" of the peace agreement, the USA and Europe will give a "coordinated military response," the publication's sources claim. The plan envisages that retaliatory measures will follow within 24 hours, starting with a diplomatic warning and countermeasures by the Ukrainian army.
If military actions continue, FT sources say, the second phase of the plan with the intervention of a "coalition of the willing" will begin. If the escalation turns into a large-scale offensive, then 72 hours after the first violation of the ceasefire, coordinated military actions of Western-backed forces, involving the US armed forces, will begin.

The Ukrainian Air Force claims that they intercepted or disabled 38 out 71 missiles and 412 out of 450 drones (of course between one third and one half of drones used in these swarms are decoys and reconnaissance drone).
While Ukrainian claims should be taken with a grain of salt, I'm simply presenting the fact that they consistently claim that their air defense is performing worse against Russian missiles over time.

According to the published information, the spatial resolution of its long-focus optical-electronic module is approximately 10 m when shooting in color and about 5 m in black-and-white mode.
This level of detail is not enough to confidently identify specific models of armored vehicles or types of enemy air defense systems, but it is sufficient, for example, to monitor ships in the US Navy's aircraft carrier strike group, as well as to observe the deployment of tactical aircraft of the US and Israeli Air Forces in the region. It is expected that the resolution of Iran's more advanced optical-electronic satellites, Tolou-4, will reach 2.5 m.

A subscriber from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detailed the incident at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant on the morning of January 31st.
Back in November last year, SBU officers delivered certain equipment to the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne Nuclear Power Plants. Among the equipment were "Geran" drones in full working condition. A provocation was being planned, the date of which no one knew. The plan was as follows.
During one of the Russian military's attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, these Geran drones were supposed to explode at critical points of the nuclear power plants, but without causing a real catastrophe. They were too dangerous to be remotely detonated, as was done with the strike on the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant sarcophagus, so they planned to detonate them under controlled conditions on site and then show off the debris. The Rivne and Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plants were chosen as the closest facilities to the European border. The main target audience of this action was the EU.
They hesitated to implement the plan for a long time, but after a week-long energy truce, Zelensky ordered its execution to scare off the Europeans and accuse the Russian side of violating the truce. It was decided to start with the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant on the morning of January 31st, and to conduct an action at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant around February 3rd, depending on how the first one went. The British approved it.
On the morning of January 31st, a Geran drone was detonated at a specific location in the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. Zelensky immediately informed Trump that Putin had cynically demonstrated his disrespect for the American President. But the Americans' reaction was such that Zelensky abandoned his plans, and the situation with the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant was not reported in the media at all. Moreover, Zelensky was so embarrassed that on February 2nd, when Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure began, he started justifying the Russian side, claiming that the Russians had hit the energy infrastructure unintentionally.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Sybiha, called FIFA President Gianni Infantino a "moral degenerate" for his call to lift the ban on Russian teams participating in international tournaments.
"Moral degenerates are proposing to lift the bans, despite Russia's inability to end the war. Future generations will consider this a disgrace, reminiscent of the events of the 1936 Olympic Games," he wrote on X.
