The first human recipient of a Neuralink brain-chip has made a full recovery and can now control a computer mouse using their thoughts, as revealed by the company’s founder, Elon Musk.
The patient has fully recovered post-implantation, with no known adverse effects. “Progress is good, and the patient seems to have made a full recovery, with no ill effects that we are aware of. Patient is able to move a mouse around the screen by just thinking,” Musk stated during a Spaces event on his social media platform X.

Nvidia has unveiled its latest innovation: the Blackwell B200 GPU, the ‘world’s most powerful chip’ for AI.
The Blackwell B200 GPU offers up to 20 petaflops of FP4 horsepower from its 208 billion transistors. Additionally, Nvidia claims that when paired with the GB200 “superchip,” which combines two B200 GPUs with a single Grace CPU, it can deliver 30 times the performance for LLM inference workloads.
The potential applications of the Blackwell B200 GPU are vast, ranging from data processing and engineering simulation to electronic design automation and computer-aided drug design.
Moreover, major cloud service providers like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Oracle are already planning to offer Blackwell-powered instances in their cloud offerings.

Ship 29 roared to life once again yesterday afternoon at Starbase, moving another step forward to the fourth flight test for SpaceX.
SpaceX lit a single Raptor engine at 1:30 pm CT, this time fueling the powerful rocket motor using the header tank located near the top of the spacecraft.
The first individual to receive a Neuralink brain implant made headlines by using it to engage in a universally relatable activity: playing Civilization 6.
Elon Musk announced on Twitter in January that Neuralink had successfully implanted its first brain implant in a human patient. Now, two months later, we're hearing from the recipient, 29-year-old Noland Arbaugh.
Arbaugh shared, "One of the first times y’all gave me complete control over this, I actually stayed up until, like jeez, I don’t know, like 6am playing Civilization 6. It was worth it, I think is the best way to put it, it was awesome. I basically had given up on playing that game."
Explaining why he was unable to play the game before the implant, Arbaugh cited the game's complexity, requiring assistance due to being a quadriplegic for eight years, which made long gaming sessions nearly impossible.
