Introducing Abel Ashagrie
Abel graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from ASTU. Before getting his degree, he had cofounded a company called Y-Tech and under it, a travel guide platform named Ethio Locate with the vision of digitizing the availability of information of hospitality service providers to help them connect easily with local and international travelers.
After graduating he has worked with different companies, the major one being the company he co-founded, on several projects that span from Ethiopia to the US and Europe.
He is now the General Manager of Youth Technologies PLC which GigzHub is established under.
Abel will be part of the panel discussion titled “Freelancing for Ethiopian Developers” at DevFest’22 in the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum on December 10.

Tabitha is Google Crouwdsource Community Coordinator and a talent sourcer at TalentQL. She is also an organizer at GDG Nairobi and OSCA Nairobi, an ambassador at Moringa School and a Lead Alumni at DSC UON.

Auwal MS is software engineer with broad experience in software development covering multiple platforms. He currently works as a Program Manager in Google Developer Relations team overseeing the activities of Developer Student Clubs in Sub-Saharan Africa.

She graduated in 2016 with Computer Science degree.
She has 6 years of Experience in Web Application development.

Introducing Robert John
Robert has worked with databases and developed enterprise software for over a decade.
He currently works with all things data, from engineering to visualization and Machine Learning.
He recently started working with embedded systems and TinyML and is eager to see the widespread adoption of embedded systems in Africa.
In the past, Robert worked as a software engineer building systems for finance, telecommunications, and utilities/energy vending.
He is a mentor at the Google for Startups Africa Accelerator programme, and is a co-organizer of the GDG Cloud developer community in Kaduna, Nigeria.

Introducing Daniel Getachew
Daniel Getachew is the Founder and CEO of Guzo Technologies, an IT services and Media startup company residing in Ethiopia that is highly focused on VR/AR and IoT products.
Guzo Technologies is famous for its MegaGrants awarded product by EpicGames called Guzomap XR.
Daniel made and contributed several software projects to multiple local and international clients.
