The White House confirmed that during his meeting with Syrian transitional President Ahmed al-Sharaa, President Trump presented five key demands as conditions for lifting U.S. sanctions and restoring ties. These include: joining the Abraham Accords to normalize relations with Israel, deporting foreign terrorists, expelling Palestinian terror groups, cooperating to prevent ISIS resurgence, and taking control of ISIS prisons currently managed by Kurdish forces. The demands outline a possible diplomatic path forward, if Syria commits to major policy changes.

The informant, believed to be a mid-level Hamas official, provided false assurances that contributed to Israel’s failure to anticipate the massive assault launched by Hamas just hours later. His deception is now considered a key factor in the intelligence breakdown leading up to October 7.
The case is drawing attention as part of broader investigations into how Israeli intelligence missed the warning signs ahead of one of the deadliest attacks in the country’s history.

Suha Arafat, widow of former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, reportedly played a role in facilitating contact between Hamas and the U.S. regarding the release of Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander. Meetings in March between US hostage envoy Adam Boehler and Hamas mostly focused the release of Edan.
This follows earlier reports that U.S. hostage envoy Adam Boehler met directly with Hamas and described the talks as “very helpful,” without ruling out future meetings.

Brogan Stewart, 25, Christopher Ringrose, 34, and Marco Pitzettu, 25, idolized Adolf Hitler and believed a race war was imminent, were convicted of preparing terrorist acts. They had compiled a list of potential targets, including mosques, and had gathered weapons and explosives to carry out their plans.
During the trial, it was revealed that the men were part of a network of far-right extremists who communicated through encrypted messaging apps and shared propaganda promoting white supremacy and antisemitism. The court heard that they had conducted surveillance of potential targets and had discussed methods to maximize casualties.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused French President Emmanuel Macron of supporting terrorism following Macron’s critical remarks about Israel’s military actions in Gaza. Macron had described Israel’s policy in Gaza as “shameful,” highlighting the humanitarian crisis and the obstruction of aid deliveries.
In response, Netanyahu asserted that Israel is committed to its objectives of defeating Hamas, securing the release of hostages, and ensuring Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel. He emphasized that Israel would continue its military operations with or without international support.
This exchange underscores escalating tensions between Israel and international leaders over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The closed-door meeting marks the first time leaders from the U.S. and Syria have sat down together since the year 2000.
While the White House previously downplayed the encounter as a brief courtesy “just to say hello,” the private nature of the meeting has sparked international interest, particularly given the decades of diplomatic freeze between the two nations. In a surprising announcement, Trump declared the lifting of U.S. sanctions on Syria, a move that has drawn international attention. Despite al-Sharaa’s past associations with the jihadist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, Trump emphasized the potential for a new chapter in U.S.-Syria relations.

🚨 Breaking: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 struck the Greek island of Crete on Wednesday, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). The quake occurred at a depth of 83 kilometers (about 51.5 miles).
People in Israel—especially in central areas like Tel Aviv and nearby cities—reported feeling the shaking caused by the distant quake.
At Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff presented a deeply personal gift to recently freed hostage Edan Alexander: the Star of David necklace that belonged to Witkoff’s late son, Andrew. Witkoff had worn the necklace for over 25 years. In an emotional moment, he placed it around Alexander’s neck, telling him, “You will do my son a great honor if you continue to wear this.” The gesture moved Alexander’s family to tears.
Edan Alexander, a 21-year-old American-Israeli soldier, was recently released from Hamas captivity. His release followed direct talks between the U.S. and Hamas, and he is currently recovering at Ichilov Hospital. Witkoff’s visit and gift underscore the profound personal and symbolic connections forged amid the broader geopolitical efforts to secure the release of hostages.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet conducted a precision airstrike targeting a Hamas command center concealed beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The operation aimed to eliminate Mohammed Sinwar, the brother of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by Israeli forces in August 2024. Mohammed Sinwar has since assumed leadership of Hamas’s military wing.
The IDF reported that the strike was executed with measures to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. However, Palestinian sources have not confirmed Sinwar’s death, and reports indicate that four individuals were killed in the attack, though their identities remain unverified.
This operation is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas’s leadership and infrastructure, particularly in response to the group’s use of civilian facilities, such as hospitals, for military purposes.

After 584 days in captivity, Hamas handed Edan Alexander over to the Red Cross, but not before staging one last propaganda photo-op. With cameras ready and smiles forced, they tried to rewrite the story.
But we remember the truth: 584 days of silence, suffering, and unimaginable cruelty.
