"Everyone is aware of the situation on the border and across the border, even the region is in turmoil and the situation is worsening by the day. Since it’s the domain of National Security, I have offered them to sit along with us so we begin talks with those who are in-charge across the border [Afghanistan].
Under the current circumstances when there are no talks between both sides, attacks have begun even in urban Sindh province. If the wave of violence has not reached Punjab it is due to the sacrifices of our security forces and police. Once this phenomenon infiltrates into our border, it moves towards the cities, we have witnessed increased number of attacks in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts, if the police do not combat and act as a protective shield, there is Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan and Mianwali of Punjab province.
Terrorists have infiltrated till Mardan and Swabi districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It’s just Taxila and Wah Cantt till they reach Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The Federal Government should think it throughly that this phenomenon of terrorism will not only limit itself to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. People of KP complain that our blood is of a different hue or is our life not important, they are right. Because we have asked for an increased police force, which is denied. The 1% of war on terror surcharge has not been given to the province."

"We must consider the possibility of dialogue if terrorists are willing to renounce terrorism. The situation must be approached realistically. Lives are being lost on both sides, and the only way to halt this is to pursue peaceful means. This does not imply any form of surrender to the terrorists. Over the last 7 days, the military has claimed to kill over 26 militants including key local commanders.

Afghanistan has become a permanent fixture in Pakistan’s regional paradigm for over four decades.
Durrani said that while our eastern neighbour is likely to continue with its anti-Pakistan pursuits, the western border poses an avoidable irritant in the short to medium term.
However, with deft diplomacy, Pakistan can overcome its difficulties with Afghanistan, including the TTP challenge, he pointed out.

That minister, Ahmad Vahidi, is part of an Iranian delegation visiting Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and Interpol has issued a red alert seeking his arrest at the request of Argentina, the ministry said in a statement.
Argentina has also asked those two governments to arrest Vahidi, it added.

🚨🇵🇰⚓️ - Pakistan's Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stayed the execution of five ex-Navy officers who were previously sentenced to death through a general court martial decree.
The sentenced ex-Navy officers were purportedly planning to hijack the Pakistani warship PNS Zulfiqar to use it in an attack on the US navy’s patrol vessels & warships sailing in the Indian ocean. The attack occurred on 6 Sept, 2014 where two were killed and five others were apprehended by security personnel.
These five officers also facilitated armed group militants by transporting weapons into the Dockyard.
