do you think the error comes from https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_samsung_sm6115/blob/fe1248fe8d283633f52d0399d0b1f87ff2090692/arch/arm64/boot/Makefile#L29 ?

He didn't even specify how he's compiling

but:
1. that doesn't justify acting like an asshole
2. doesn't help at all
You may also notice that it doesn't find arch/arm64/boot/dts. Can you not attack a person asking a question?

Here's your issue.
Learn to read. Thanks.
find: 'arch/arm64/boot/dts/': No such file or directory
OBJCOPY arch/arm64/boot/Image
find: 'arch/arm64/boot/dts/': No such file or directory
Main issue
any help? It looks like just a makefile issue but I dont know. When srctree and objtree are same, builds without problems(at least in this part)

Instead of using my distro's llvm and clang toolchain would it be better(possible?) to grab the latest AOSP clang source code and compile it using tc-build on my system to generate a native toolchain for my system?

perhaps the build system doesn't cd into the directory or smth?

I'm not building for LOS, but for Droidian. That's why I need to do an out-of-tree build. Also here is my build flags:
```
PATH=/usr/lib/llvm-android-12.0-r416183b/bin:/buildd/sources/debian/path-override:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11 LDFLAGS="" CFLAGS="" HOSTLDFLAGS="-fuse-ld=lld --rtlib=compiler-rt" /usr/bin/make -C /buildd/sources KERNELRELEASE=4.19.325-samsung-gta4l ARCH=arm64 CROSS_COMPILE=aarch64-linux-android- CROSS_COMPILE_ARM32=aarch64-linux-android- CLANG_TRIPLE=aarch64-linux-gnu- -j8 LLVM=1 LLVM_IAS=1 O=/buildd/sources/out/KERNEL_OBJ CC=clang DTC_EXT=/usr/bin/dtc dtbs
```
He's compiling a LOS? or just the kernel if LOS , Then he should send device tree.
If just kernel - send build flags how did the execute
also, since lineage never tries out-of-tree builds (and i guess they're doing that?), they could easily have just broken them

First of all, I know how to read. It says this, but when I check the path in srctree, everything seems fine. So why does it say 'No such file or directory?

And because of this

Announcing new automated channel:
/channel/CAFReleases
This channel tracks Codeaurora releases daily and send once new version is detected.
source: https://github.com/yshalsager/codeaurora-releases-tracker
If you have the directory /sys/fs/pstore in recovery means recovery kernel obviously has pstore in its defconfig. Also look at the .config generated instead of the defconfig because it should say CONFIG_PSTORE=y or that it's not set, either way you can just add it to defconfig
in arch/<architecture>/boot/dts there should be a dtsi file that has reserved memory for ramoops you could also check /sys/module/ramoops exists if you can boot your kernel
if your kernel gets to splash, it has a dtb attached. Dtbo is just an overlay for the dtbs
