guys how the fuck force the kernel to load vendor/firmware_mnt I merged scripts/dtc and some other stuff to run well with latest toolchains from kernel v4.14.190 sm6150 motorola kernel source but now no matter how many Image compiled the kernel just refuse to load /vendor/firmware_mnt/Image and load all external kernel modules any glue of what a hell is going on?

Breaking down a massive OEM commitsgit reset HEAD^ drivers/gpu
This resets the HEAD and only grabs the directories I specifygit commit --amend
This obviously amends the original commitgit add --all
This adds the directories I specified abovegit commit -a -m "Import OEM gpu driver changes"
This obviously adds the commit message
And finally this is the weird partgit rebase -i HEAD~2
After that last command is executed it will display a commit window.
This rebases and displays the last 2 commits in the repo. The original Xiaomi commit is on top and my commit is underneath. Xiaomi commit being the 2nd and mine being the first. So I need to move that Xiaomi commit to be the latest commit in git history.. Ctrl+k to cut the Xiaomi commit, and Ctrl+u to paste it under my commit. Boom, history is re-written and my commit is now older in history so I can proceed to do the same thing over and over again to the rest of the directories in this massive commit.
Then you get sexy commit history like this and makes things easier to find when you hit conflicts or build errors after merging your kernel with kernel-msm or caf or upstream.

i'm askin if can retain modules because there are also out-of-tree modules (yet built, but ..) so the quetion is sysvipc is stuctural to the kernel and chenge also how modules behave (need rebuild) or not ?

Severe kernel memory leak on Android 16 custom ROM
System: Android 16, rooted, custom kernel
Issue: After 4-5 hours uptime, system has <400MB free RAM with no apps running
Memory stats showing the problem:
- MemTotal: 7.6 GB
- MemAvailable: 616 MB
- SUnreclaim: 3581500 kB (~3.5 GB) ← ABNORMAL
- Slab: 3676824 kB total
- SwapFree: 1765408 kB (1.3 GB swap used)
Normal systems have 100-300 MB in SUnreclaim. Mine has 3.5 GB of unreclaimable kernel memory that keeps growing.
Anyone faced similar issues?
