Q. What are your views on David's involvement in the project?

It seemed that there was quite some disconnect between David and the team, especially regarding the the native token. He was quite equivocating as to whether it would actually be implemented and happy for someone else to develop it but other team members (Bux) stated that Maidsafe would do it...

1) Is there any good reason to keep Omni maid, versus just converting it all to EMAID?


2) Will you be able to convert EMAID 1:1 for the new token (on Arbitrum)

3) Will Omni maid, EMAID and the new token be convertible 1:1 for the native token, if and when it is ever launched? (There was no conclusive timelines, and it was quite unreassuring such that I would be hesitant to invest more until there is more certainty)

Is my understanding correct that there will 3 placeholder tokens (!) Omnimaid, eMaid, new token before there is ever a native token

In principle, yes, but I do not recommend it to you as Trezor wrote to you, you will have to make manual transactions with Electrum. Use OmniWallet

MaidSafeCoin is an Omni layer token, which is also supported by Trezor devices. However, no existing wallet software supports Omni layer on Trezor, so the only option is to hand-craft transactions and submit them via Electrum.
