⚡ 🇬🇧🇮🇳 UK signed a historic Free Trade Agreement FTA with India.

UK businesses overall now will have 3% tariff to get into Indian market, lowered from 15%. And UK alcohol brands are the biggest winner in this deal because India lowered tariff from 150% to 70% for UK's alcohol brands and distilleries.

Meanwhile India is going to enjoy easy tariffs and benefits for its agricultural products exporting to UK market. And defence, tech sharing, cyberspace etc bilateral agreements have been renewed and signed between UK and India.

This is UK's biggest trade deal signed with another country after Britain's exit from EU.

I always found it interesting how Stalin's closest experience to a real factory and workers-like condition was in a shoe factory in Georgia, in which I believe he only stayed there for two months.

The man was genuinely principled - whether his principles are right or wrong is a different argument - based on an experience that did not last more than a quarter of a year, in fact, it only solidified his viewpoint and radicalized him further.

Meanwhile, there were other men, like Khrushchev, and Brezhnev, where most would argue they are "less principled" than Stalin, even though they spent much more of their time in the factories and the mines.

Same thing with Mao and these figures.

Arguably, both men - Stalin and Mao - despite not enduring the same workers-like condition and the factories they wish to reform, were more principled in their political beliefs (Mao sent his own son to die in Korea, and Stalin - the same), than those who did.

I am sure in sociology studies this has a definition, but I am too stupid to know it.
