Hey! I'm from VA and live just over the stateline in WV. Anarcon is my jam. Just wanted out to both of you @ElStone that Anarcon is not in WV but close, and not in Southern VA but in the north tippy top of the triangle in Gore, VA.
I'm also looking for land/like minded in the area but I didn't know there are owners long on land and short on community... @ElStone can you connect us?

For sure.
Just my 2 cents but breaking the financial prison put on people by statism is far more important than isolating at a homestead hoping like minded folks will join you.
If you do the former you have the ability to travel the world freely with few restrictions, the latter seems like a potential time/ value sink IMHO unless you already have the community and infrastructure to enjoy such.
Anarcon of WV is a festival just like midfest where you might find locals into your goals also.

Heartbreaking, I hope some of the numerous voluntaryists who visited Jackfest try out MidFest or @Bartertowne this decade.
I don't think Toni ever took the trip out to Copperhead IIRC but it's never too late as long as we continue gathering @Midfest.
It is sad how communities fail to maintain fellowship and break apart instead but with a strong shared purpose and clear ruleset to guide gathering I believe long lasting communities like rainbow, midfest, and Bartertowne will continue to thrive for decades to come.
XNA is closer than Tulsa (TUL) but rates are probably better flying into Tulsa

I like midfest better for a lot of reasons, it's $30 for 3 nights, I think Anarcon was $40-50 for 2 nights
