They are not "PERFECTLY" linkable. Imagine you send to user_1, that user_1 send to user_2, user_2 to user_3 and etc. Every step has at least 2 outputs: actual coins sent to the next user and the change. Since the amounts are hidden you can't tell which output belongs to the next user and which is the change. And with every next step it complicates chain analysys even more. And add to that, that you need an actively listening node which is sniffing the network traffic, because you will have zero information from the blockchain alone.

This grin's vulnerability is a flaw that breaks system's privacy. The fact that http was designed in the way that allowed ISP to see the traffic don't mean it was not a vulnerability.

I won't consider grin a privacy coin since it still has transactions perfectly linkable between each other. It is basically as private as BTC/BCH with hidden amounts

Gemini and simple web search says that u can't prove that u made certain transaction unless receiver cooperates because of cut-though
