In this I disagree with Thuletide and veer more toward the Third Position stance. Firstly though we have to make it clear, a critique of capitalism is not inherently Marxist and has existed within the right wing canon for a century.

The reason for this, to be brief, is that capital commodifies identity and breaks down all barriers to growth.

This, of course, is exactly what hope not hate does and is engaged in. The question then becomes, on behalf of what? A left wing ideal or Money Power?

It’s Money Power paying their bills, not the left wing ideal.

Ultimately they answer to the Money Power, not the ideal.

Hope not hate dispensed with the Palestine issue, which is intrinsic to leftist ideals, because the Money Power would sanction them if they didn’t.

It is the power of Money and its hegemony they obey, not leftism.

No one was ever more deserving of scorn and contempt than Matt Hancock. If he is cast out of public life for all time, it would be a welcome benefit to our nation. But does anyone in their right mind believe that this cretin was the author of any of these policies? He is/was merely an over-zealous and wildly narcissistic middle-manager, trying to please his masters in any way imaginable. He is being hung out to dry by higher powers, for reasons best known to themselves, but Hancock has always had the word, 'scapegoat' painted on his forehead in glowing red letters. By casting him in to the fire, the Tories might rid themselves of some of the negative COVID baggage and then perhaps, Bojo (the Tory Telegraph's favourite son) can rise again, and take the throne back? The election cycle is fast approaching and these creatures are like rats in a sack, doing what comes naturally to them.

I'm just watching UK Column's coverage of the lab-leak affair and this image appeared. It jumped out at me how intelligent and serious these people are. This woman doesn't have to spend her time keeping up with whatever woke mumbo jumbo is flavour of the week. She isn't a diversity hire and will spend every waking moment studying and improving her knowledge of a given situation in order to outplay her competitors in the West.

Yesterday I watched Biden's nomination for the FAA or something, a black man, who answered all 7 questions on how the aviation industry functions incorrectly, mainly he didn't even understand the questions he was asked.

The problem is HNH are not far left extremists in any real sense, they're a neoliberal NGO. They reflect and endorse the values of Power, not an ideology distinct from it.

They are not a crazy group of radicals the government are being duped by, they're simply another organ or tentacle of the British deep-state.

Hope not Hate are to institutional power in Britain what Luca Brasi was to Don Corleone, a loyal thug there to do his dirty work.
