Personally I would like to see the ability for pairs to be made in Xmex. All that liquidity is just sat there doing nothing. Ability to be paired with any estd, egld, BTC or stable will give a massive boost to the dex, which could also offer incentives with respect to farming.

I'm not going to split hairs, Mex has been neglected for a long while, but it still remains at the core of the xexchange with respect to governance and reward based incentives. Do we want to push more in terms of usecase and liquidity drives? 💯. Hopefully this is something that will happen once the market improves and different strategies are implemented.

What would you do right now to improve Mex if you could?

I agree, transparency and communication are key points that are being worked on, obviously more needs to be done in this regard. The main thing which is needed is users and liquidity across the board. It's not just Multiversx that's suffering, but that's no excuse. All we can really do is strive to do our best and help push the ecosystem to wider circles. Of course a major marketing push would be great, which traditionally does cost a lot, but in this day and age it doesn't necessarily have to. I'm genuinely curious and excited about what the future holds. A team that keeps pushing and tying to make their mark, one of the most innovative technology in the industry and still a large community ( the most important IMHO)

When sentiment finally shifts, which happens all too often in this industry there's no telling where things may lead.

Let's hope for a better future

The fact is the team are still there pushing every day. Were there bad decisions made in the past? Of course. That's been acknowledged. They have massively downsized and are actively engaged in the massive supernova update. The future is uncertain, but I like to think having tech at the forefront of innovation still stands for something. Markets are cruel and it's often the case of who you know in any industry compared to how good you actually are. I still hold the opinion that Multiversx can flip the sentiment and be a leader in the Blockchain industry. No journey is ever in a straight line, but they certainly haven't given up on their Vision.

I understand your point and it is true that the team is still working and that deserves recognition but at the same time trust is built on commitment not just effort the recent changes especially regarding supply and inflation have directly affected investor confidence which was based on the principle of scarcity
what is even more concerning is that even during the bull market the coin did not follow the rest of the market in going up and was often moving in the opposite direction as if there was constant selling pressure this behavior does not reflect a strong project but rather gives the impression of ongoing distribution
technology is important yes but without credibility and consistency in decisions it is difficult to maintain community support the market is harsh as you said but that does not justify decisions that harm investors in both the short and long term
I truly hope the project succeeds and regains trust but that requires greater transparency and a clearer respect for the commitments that this trust was built on from the beginning

This decision is completely irresponsible and comes at the worst possible time, while EGLD is collapsing dramatically. Many investors have trusted this project for years, and the main reason for that trust was the strict commitment to a fixed and limited total supply. What has happened now is a clear violation of that principle and a direct blow to the project’s credibility. Personally, I have lost more than $5,000 because of this reckless decision, and it feels like the team has completely abandoned its promises and commitments to the community that supported it from the beginning. Continuing down this path will destroy whatever trust remains among investors and will have serious consequences for the future of the project.
