By simply holding the USDTUSDCLP Meta-ESDT token — which acts as the key to the position and proves ownership — the lender could gain full control over the staked assets, including the ability to claim rewards or unstake the underlying tokens.
This can be applied also for xMEX which is not transferable as the normal MEX, we issue a new token wrapping xMEX that is used in the protocol to borrow against it here we can most probably allow a LTV of only 20% since if we need to liquidate and instant unwrap xMEX to MEX we lose 80% as per the xexchange implementation, so in theory you can always use xMEX at a value of 20% equivalent in MEX (still better than nothing)

We will be able to use LP tokens as collateral, but not the staked LP tokens, that complicates things since each token has another position and attributes.
There is other alternative where we wrap the staked LP tokens in a normal ESDT such as wEGLDMEXLPStakedLK thus we make kind of a DAO token where all stakers are aggregating their tokens and merged into one then we issue the wrapped token representing their ownership of the pool, then we list this new token as a normal token into the lending markets and borrow against it. The issue here is that the staked LP tokens have unbound time as far as i remember so is not as flexible for liquidations as a lending protocol needs so most probably the LTV of such tokens will be very low
Maybe some help is needed, since as far as I know, the Metaverse project has open-source code — and I’d be happy to contribute ! I really want to see this feature live as soon as possible.
After 5 years in software development, I’d love to finally build something that I’ll actually use myself.
I believe xoxno lending protocol will come with this feature

In this case, liquidity providers would be able to borrow up to 70% of the value of their Meta tokens, and use that borrowed amount elsewhere — either within the Metaverse ecosystem or in external platforms.
Example (JEX Pool):
USH: $6,101
USDC: $2,055
USDT: $2,010
Total Pool Value: ~$10,166
Based on this, lenders could potentially unlock an additional ~$7,100 in liquidity by borrowing against the staked position (USH-USDC-USDT Meta-ESDT).
We could allow the transfer of ownership of Meta tokens instead of relying on traditional liquidation mechanisms.
The idea is that the lender gains control over the Meta tokens, allowing them to unstake the staked assets if the borrower defaults, rather than going through a liquidation process.
Example:
Person A provides liquidity on JEX for a pool like USDT/USDC.
In return, they receive a token such as USDTUSDCLP Meta-ESDT, which represents their staked position — essentially:USDTUSDCLP Meta-ESDT = amount(USDT) + amount(USDC).
Now, Person A wants to borrow 70% of the total value of that position.
If they fail to repay the loan, ownership of the Meta token would transfer to a manager contract or directly to the lender who provided the funds.
After gaining ownership, the lender would be able to:
Claim rewards generated by the staked position, or (which could be even more valuable over time, especially if the assets remain staked),
Unstake and withdraw the underlying assets.
I’m aware this approach may introduce some security considerations.
In fact anyone can build this specific DAO of staked LP tokens and issue the new wrapped token then if is open and secure it can become a market into xoxno lending.
