A defining thought from this Townhall:

For Elrond was never easy to become what it was… and it was quite a chapter for everybody in all possible ways.

What was determining that kind of path was especially the hard times and against all odds the path we choose to go and push with insane focus and speed. If I look at where we are today, I don’t think there are many other options for us left but rather go to this insane mode, cut a lot of the noise and just go full speed and perform.

Solved: my ledger nano s plus firmware was indeed too old. With fw. 1.1.0 the multiversx app is available and installs without problems. Though I haven't checked if it is the latest version of the app.
