First we will have battle of nodes which should be pushing out very soon. That's basically battle testing on testnet/devnet and will be insentivsed. Any fixes will be applied and retested. Shortly after that mainnet is live.

Also, please keep in mind that this was subject to a community governance vote, not a decision made by the team. It was extensively discussed, analyzed, evaluated and re-evaluated by the entire community together with the team through multiple AMAs, X Spaces, live YouTube sessions, and Discord live discussions. Everyone had the opportunity to share their perspective and submit proposals. Ultimately, the decision is made by the community through voting on whether a change is implemented. The same process applied to the new economic model, which was approved with 94.55% of votes in favor.

The supply has changed to a tail inflation model with burn mechanism, that it will also be reviewed every 12 months. The issuance rate has now been increased slightly. The idea is, this will enable more funds for expansion and development, higher incentives for validators and stakers and help encourage builders into the ecosystem.
