This was reported by investor Jason Lemkin. What this AI is and what happened:
— Replit is an online AI-powered service that allows you to write and run code without installing additional software;
— it was implemented in the business to speed up development and automate some processes;
— the project team programmed the neural network: "NO CHANGES without permission." But at one stage of work, Replit decided the database was broken and deleted it;
— data of 1206 users and 1196 companies were destroyed;
— it is claimed that the AI continued to generate fake reports as if nothing had happened;
— eventually, this AI bot admitted the mistake: "I destroyed months of work and broke the system."
