And in the meantime, they are working on a mission I find more inspiring than any other- relieving pain and suffering due to a wide variety of brain and spine problems.
We've already seen the tremendous positive impact these devices have had on the first 7 human trial participants. Billions of people- almost half the world population has some brain problem.
Right now, the company employs ~500 people, is valued at ~$9 billion, and has a 1,024 channel device that can read neurons.
I predict in 12-13 years, the company will have implanted in 1,000,000 people, employ 50,000 people, have a valuation of $1 trillion, and have a larger 1,000,000 channel device that can read and stimulate neurons.
But those are just some ways to quantify the very real impact it will have on:
- Helping us understand human consciousness and unlock "secrets" of the brain
- Reducing pain and suffering due to brain and spine problems
- Connecting us to digital superintelligence, which btw, how insane will it be for your limbic system + cortex to work directly alongside Grok v20!? 🤯

Elon Musk says most AI is trained on “garbage data”
His plan? Use Grok 3.5 to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge: clean the data, fill the gaps, remove errors. Then retrain Grok on that.
Some call it bold. Others call it biased. But Musk says real accuracy starts with rewriting the source.
Grok 3.5 (or maybe Grok 4) drops soon.
This could change everything.
Elon Musk has confirmed that Neuralink plans to begin its first vision-restoring implants within the next 6–12 months.
Even those who are completely blind may regain sight — a breakthrough they’ve already demonstrated in monkeys, including one that’s had the implant for three years.

Elon Musk unveils Grok-3, calling it the “smartest AI on Earth”
Musk’s xAI just launched Grok-3, claiming it outperforms OpenAI’s GPT-4o, Google’s Gemini, and DeepSeek’s V3 on math, science, and coding benchmarks.
With 10× the compute power of Grok-2 and a 200K GPU cluster, it’s rolling out now to Premium+ subscribers on X, with a SuperGrok subscription coming soon for mobile and Grok.com.
Elon Musk says Grok 3 is “scary smart” 👀
During a call at the World Government Summit, Musk claimed that Grok 3 is ahead of the competition, with exceptional reasoning skills and the ability to come up with non-obvious solutions, something he says other AI models struggle with.
Unlike ChatGPT and Gemini, which rely on massive internet datasets, Grok 3 is trained using synthetic data and self-reflection techniques to sharpen its logic.
But here’s the real question: Can xAI actually compete with OpenAI and Google?
🇨🇦 We’re happy to announce that Health Canada has approved the launch of our first clinical trial in Canada! Recruitment is now open.

against the company, was found dead at just 26 years old in a San Francisco apartment.
Police have ruled out foul play, but the circumstances remain unclear, leaving many questions
unanswered.
AI has the potential to surpass human abilities. neuralink aims to level the playing field, turning technology into an advantage for humanity.
As Elon Musk says, this is ‘species-level important.’ Are you ready for what’s next? 🚀
The Future of Neuralink:
We are witnessing a truly *historic* technology develop in real-time. The idea of implanting a device to regulate electrical pulses in the brain used to be stuck in academic labs. But Neuralink is bringing this technology to the masses.
They are productizing brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) by making them mass manufacturable. They are making it so you and I can easily choose to connect our biological computers with digital supercomputers.
Elon Musk just called out his own AI.
He says it “believes mainstream media too much,” calls that embarrassing, and promises an update.
Musk has always framed Grok as the anti-woke, anti-censorship cousin of ChatGPT.
Elon Musk announced on X that Tesla’s Robotaxi service launched in Austin, Texas, today, with a flat fee of $4.20 per ride. The service, initially available to a select group, marks a significant step in Tesla’s autonomous driving ambitions. Musk highlighted the decade-long effort by Tesla’s AI and chip design teams, emphasizing the project’s in-house development.

Thousands of administrative employees at Brown University woke up this spring to an email with pointed Elon Musk-like questions about their job responsibilities.
Please describe your role, it asked. What tasks have you performed in the past week? How would Brown students be affected if your job didn’t exist?
The email was from a sophomore, Alex Shieh, who explained that the responses would be included in a story for The Brown Spectator, a new, as yet unpublished conservative newspaper on campus.
Two days later, the university notified Shieh that he was under investigation, and with that, the case became the latest flashpoint in the free speech wars on American college campuses.
Sam Altman told Elon Musk: “Let’s be friends.”
Elon posted an old tweet where someone said Sam helped stop Trump. Sam replied, admitted he was wrong, and said AGI is too big to fight over.
Now he says they might meet next week. No reply from Elon yet.
Anyway… kinda missed the OpenAI drama.
The Neuralink Patient Registry is now open worldwide!
If you or someone you know is living with quadriplegia, paraplegia, visual impairment, or speech impairment — and is over 18 — you can now apply from anywhere in the world.
Grok Unhinged Mode... 😳😂

Grok-3 also introduces DeepSearch, a smart AI search engine designed for reasoning, research, and data analysis, plus, a voice-based chatbot is on the way.
Musk says Grok-3 will open-source once it’s fully mature, adding even more fuel to his rivalry with OpenAI.
It’s coming 👀
Grok 3 drops Monday
Musk announced that xAI’s latest chatbot will be unveiled with a live demo at 8 PM PT.
He claims Grok 3 has next-level reasoning abilities, self-improvement techniques, and can generate non-obvious solutions, something he says other AI models struggle with.
After a car accident, a mother’s concerns about her daughter’s arm pain were dismissed by urgent care staff and a radiologist who found no fractures in her X-rays. Unconvinced, she turned to Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok.
Grok detected a distal radius fracture that medical professionals had overlooked. A specialist later confirmed the diagnosis, crediting early detection for avoiding surgery.
This story is a powerful reminder of how making AI technology accessible to everyone can be life-changing.
Sam Altman didn’t hold back when talking about Elon Musk, calling him “clearly a bully” who “likes to get in fights.” 🥊
In a recent podcast, the OpenAI CEO reflected on Musk’s early contributions to OpenAI but pointed out their ongoing feud over the company’s structure and direction.
Nearly All Gen Z Workers Use AI Regularly, Survey Finds
A recent survey from Harris Poll and Google Workspace reveals that 93% of Gen Z workers use AI tools weekly, with 82% leveraging AI to assist with tasks like drafting emails and overcoming language barriers.
Millennials are close behind, with 79% regularly turning to AI at work.
Beyond efficiency, emerging leaders view AI as a way to advance their careers. “AI isn’t just about speed; it’s a career catalyst,” said Yulie Kwon Kim of Google Workspace.
The findings also highlight how AI is reshaping workplace dynamics:
- 88% say AI helps strike the right tone in writing.
- 87% feel more confident crafting long emails.
- 90% believe AI-powered note-taking would ease joining meetings on the go.
With nearly all respondents (98%) expecting AI to transform their industries within five years, the future of work seems undeniably AI-driven.
Elon Musk’s ongoing lawsuit against OpenAI has given insight into the startup’s beginnings, revealing casual email exchanges between Musk and Sam Altman that led to its creation.
In 2015, Altman pitched Musk the idea of a “Manhattan Project for AI” to develop safe artificial intelligence and counter Google’s dominance. Musk agreed, setting the stage for OpenAI’s ambitious mission.
Now, Musk claims OpenAI has deviated from its nonprofit roots, citing its deep ties with Microsoft, which he labels a “de facto merger.” He argues that the company has shifted focus from global safety to profit-driven goals.
The emails, highlighted in Musk’s amended lawsuit, paint a picture of a bold vision but also foreshadow tensions that would eventually lead Musk to leave the board in 2018.
Is OpenAI’s evolution a natural progression or a betrayal of its original mission?
