Trump is slated to visit the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi on Friday, the first American presidential visit to the interfaith institution since its inauguration in February 2023.
The complex, which houses a synagogue, 🕍 mosque 🕌 and church ⛪️ connected by a central pavilion, was intended as a display of interfaith cooperation and tolerance by the UAE.
Trump will be the 1st president to tour the complex; secretaries of state Blinken and Rubio have visited previously.
It will be a nod to the Abraham Accords, and a potential pivot on tolerance to unite the 3 Abrahamic faiths. This visit will be huge with geopolitical symbolism with strong interfaith undertones.
The world is watching.

Finally watching Trump's speech in Riyadh. It's hard for me to believe that anybody, even his most hardcore supporters, still find any of this passable. It's grating and practically unwatchable.
Totally monotonous, repetitive, meandering. And feels like such a stupid exercise when he reads one of these lines about the "neocons" that his speechwriter writes for him so that his surrogates can pretend like that is some kind of rhetorical breakthrough on Twitter.

Al-Sharaa's 'strong past' includes being a member of Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Al-Nusra, Fateh Al-Sham, and HTS.
The U.S. State Department even had a $10 million dollar bounty on him.
Al-Sharaa also famously said that anyone who lived in the Arab or Islamic world in 2001 would 'be lying' if they said they 'weren't happy' with the 9/11 attacks.
