Putin has signed a long-term cooperation pact with Mongolia, following similar agreements with North Korea and Vietnam earlier this year, reviving old Soviet-era alliances. The deal includes investments in power plants, aviation fuel, weapons, and troop training, with most trade bypassing the dollar and euro entirely.
Russian pipelines are set to run through Mongolia and Vladivostok, connecting to China, Vietnam, and North Korea. Putin also extended an invitation to Mongolia's leader, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, to attend the BRICS Summit in Kazan next month and the 80th Victory Day celebration in May 2025.
Meanwhile, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng is scheduled to visit Russia and Mongolia from September 4-8, and will participate in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

Both nations are apparently seeking to spark major regional wars, Russia’s top diplomat has suggested
Ukraine and Israel are trying to spark major regional wars which they believe will solve their own problems at the expense of others, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
The country’s senior diplomat made the remarks in an exclusive interview with RT’s Anna Knishenko, aired on Saturday (Aug. 31). Asked about the prospects of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East devolving into a major regional war, Lavrov suggested Israel was effectively the only party seeking such conflict.
“It seems that the only one who wants such a development is Israel. Probably the Israeli government, which is rather hard politics-wise, and they do not even hide that,” Lavrov stated.
“Probably, they want to take advantage of this situation to once and for all try to solve all their problems with Hamas and with Hezbollah, and with pro-Iranian groups in Syria and Iraq,” the minister suggested, adding that Tehran seems to be avoiding such a conflict and “does not want to get involved in any large-scale military actions.”

In a pitch deck to prospective customers, one of Facebook's alleged marketing partners explained how it listens to users' smartphone microphones and advertises to them accordingly.
As 404 Media reports based on documents leaked to its reporters, the TV and radio news giant Cox Media Group (CMG) claims that its so-called "Active Listening" software uses artificial intelligence to "capture real-time intent data by listening to our conversations."
"Advertisers can pair this voice-data with behavioral data to target in-market consumers," the deck continues.
In the same slideshow, CMG counted Facebook, Google, and Amazon as clients, though it didn't specify whether they were involved in the "Active Listening" service. After 404 reached out to Google about its partnership, the tech giant removed the media group from the site for its "Partners Program."

Energy dependence puts Mongolia — sandwiched between Russia and China — in a tough spot.
Apologies everyone, our hands are kinda tied.
That's the message from Mongolia's government after it failed on Monday to execute an international arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin as he landed in the country for an official visit.
In a statement to POLITICO on Tuesday, a Mongolian government spokesperson said that the country finds itself in a position of energy dependence, rendering it difficult to handcuff Putin on the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant over war crimes in Ukraine.
"Mongolia imports 95% of its petroleum products and over 20% of electricity from our immediate neighborhood, which have previously suffered interruption for technical reasons. This supply is critical to ensure our existence and that of our people," the spokesperson said.
"Mongolia has always maintained a policy of neutrality in all its diplomatic relations, as demonstrated in our statements of record to date," the spokesperson added.

Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te has stated that if China's claims to Taiwan are based on territorial integrity, the People’s Republic of China should also take back regions given to Russia in the nineteenth century.
The Taiwanese leader, in an interview with a local TV channel, recalled the 1858 Treaty of Aigun, under which China ceded a huge swathe of land to the Russian Empire in what is now the Far East of Russia, forming most of the modern border along the Amur River.
"If it is for the sake of territorial integrity, why doesn't it take back the lands occupied by Russia that were signed over in the Treaty of Aigun? Russia is now at its weakest, right?" Taiwan's president said "China's intention to attack and annex Taiwan is not because of what any one person or political party in Taiwan says or does. It is not for the sake of territorial integrity that China wants to annex Taiwan."
"The Treaty of Aigun signed during the Qing [dynasty] - you can ask Russia (for the land back) but you don't. So it's obvious they don't want to invade Taiwan for territorial reasons," he said.

“All these people are controlled,” the journalist and insider of the Washington political “swamp” explained at the beginning of the year…
US Senator Lindsey Graham stated, "Ukraine has trillions of dollars worth of critical minerals in their country. Vladimir Putin cannot be allowed to access that money and those resources because he will share it with China."
This raises questions about the original narrative that "Putin attacked Ukraine unprovoked, and Ukraine was just defending itself." Now, it seems the focus has shifted to the natural resources in Donbas, rather than just Ukraine's sovereignty.

Authorities from Sweden and Denmark complain it has been getting harder and harder to catch up with criminals as many utilize encrypted messaging services to access new recruits, Denmark’s daily, bt.dk, reported.
Denmark’s Minister of Justice Hummelgaard suggested increasing the pressure on E2EE providers even further by geoblocking popular apps such as Signal, Telegram, and WhatsApp to prevent criminals from enjoying a digital safe haven.
Interestingly, investigative journalists at Denmark’s frihedsbrevet.dk discovered that at least 70 members of the Danish parliament use encrypted messaging services themselves. Ironically, Hummelgaard was among the users of E2EE platforms he proposed to ban.

The harms and deaths caused by covid vaccines that we have known up until now won’t compare to the devastation the new replicon vaccines could and will most likely cause, according to Dr. Daniel Nagase.
It could be a worldwide disaster. “Because [if] an artificial gene [from the vaccines] out in the environment is proven, especially if it is in birds or insects … The man-made gene could spread around the world across multiple species and become nearly impossible to eliminate,” he said.

An oncologist, cancer researcher and author recently shared a study that chemotherapy-resistant turbo cancers caused by Pfizer and Moderna Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) mRNA vaccines can be overcome by ivermectin, a controversial anti-parasitic drug known to ease symptoms of viruses such as coronavirus.
According to the study, at a human dose of two mg/kg, ivermectin can achieve anti-cancer effects such as cell cycle arrest (inhibit proliferation), preferential inhibition of cancer stem-like cells, synergize with several chemotherapy drugs and inhibit tumor growth in a breast cancer mouse model.
Ivermectin was tested at two mg/kg/day, translating to roughly 5uM in vitro concentration. They found that the drug goes after cancer stem cells, which tend to be resistant to chemotherapy.
"Ivermectin has a preferential depletion effect on the cancer stem-like cell population," the authors included in the research. "We observed that among all the evaluated cell lines, a decrease in cell viability and clonogenicity is more evident in the cancer stem-like cells than in their parental population."

Foreigners entering the Russian Federation for a period of more than 90 days will be obliged to submit their biometric data upon entry into Russia, that will be part of efforts of the Russian state to strengthen national security.
So far, a draft bill has already been submitted for consideration of the Russian Parliament (State Duma) being designed by members of the local political party “A Just Russia – For Truth.”
An official spokesman of the Party comments:
“The existing features of writing the surname-name-patronymic of citizens of certain countries in Cyrillic and Latin allow for several options for writing passport data, which makes it impossible to clearly identify a person who has entered the territory of the Russian Federation, which, in turn, makes it possible for persons who have committed an offense in Russia and were previously deported to re-enter Russia”

A former aide to New York Governor Kathy Hochul has been charged with acting as an undisclosed agent of the Chinese government, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn said.
Prosecutors said Linda Sun, 41, was arrested on Tuesday and is expected to be presented in court later in the day. Sun's husband Chris Hu also faces criminal charges.
While working in state government, Sun allegedly blocked representatives of the Taiwanese government from meeting with officials, and allegedly sought to arrange for a high-level New York state official to visit China.

In September the United Nations’ 79th General Assembly will host the highly-anticipated “Summit of the Future” where nations will sign the “Pact of the Future”, representing a major step towards the creation of a world government.
As the United Nations prepares for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the general public seems dangerously unaware of the UN’s plans for the “Summit of the Future”. It is at the Summit where member states are expected to declare a “planetary emergency” as part of the so-called “Pact for the Future”.
The Summit of the Future website says the outcome of the Pact for the Future will be “a world – and an international system – that is better prepared to manage the challenges we face now”. The Pact for the Future is likely to be another piece of the shift towards a world governed by unelected internationalist politicians.
During the Summit of the Future, UN member states are also likely to vote to radically alter the UN itself — what some are calling UN 2.0 — and the very nature of how nation-states make decisions regarding the future of the planet.
The UN has also recently announced their plan to sign a “Global Digital Compact” at the Summit of the Future. The stated purpose of the GDC is “to establish an inclusive global framework, essential for multi-stakeholder action required to overcome digital, data and innovation divides”. The UN claims the compact will help advance an “open, free, secure, and human-centered digital future for all” while helping complete the Sustainable Development Goals.

Recycled plastics might sound like an eco-friendly choice, but they can be more toxic than new plastics. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has faced criticism for its approval process for using recycled plastics in food packaging, which many believe is too lenient and puts consumers at risk.
Studies suggest that recycled plastics can contain harmful chemicals like benzene, BPA and phthalates, among others. Critics argue that the FDA is not doing enough to protect the public from potential toxic hazards in recycled plastics.
