They wanted to know how many people would comply with a complete re-ordering of their lives based on no science at all, just random orders, some of which bordered on absurdity.

Now, we’ve got the World Economic Forum coming out and all but admitting that was exactly why the Covid-19 “pandemic” had to happen.

The WEF gleefully posted the following snippet to the “My Carbon” page of its website where they make a pitch for so-called smart cities, which is just another term for 15-minute cities.

The first of three “developments” that the WEF says must be in place before the world can evolve into its utopian vision of “smart and sustainable cities,” is compliance with restrictions on our freedom. It writes:

1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world. There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

They were testing us. That’s what Covid was all about. They wanted to see how many of us would give up our individual freedom and individual sovereignty by complying with a “new normal” that consisted of restrictions bordering on the absurd.

The administration announced a series of actions Wednesday in response to alleged efforts by Russian actors to influence U.S. public opinion.

The Departments of Justice, State and Treasury announced concurrent actions Wednesday that target what the Biden administration says are Russian government-sponsored attempts to manipulate U.S. public opinion ahead of the November election.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the DOJ had unsealed an indictment Wednesday in the Southern District of New York that charges two employees of the Russian-backed media network RT with conspiring to commit money laundering and to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

"That law, enacted nearly a century ago, was enacted to ensure that the American people were informed when a foreign power engages in political activities or seeks to influence public discourse," Garland said during a meeting on domestic election threats. "The American people are entitled to know when a foreign power is attempting to exploit our country's free exchange of ideas in order to send around its own propaganda."

A group of leading Japanese researchers has just issued a chilling warning after uncovering links between Covid mRNA shots and surging rates of heart failure among young American teenagers.

Joe Biden’s son Hunter pleaded guilty in a tax evasion trial on Thursday, without reaching the deal he had sought with prosecutors, in a case that has been an embarrassment for the US president.

The 54-year-old admitted nine counts related to failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes over the past decade, money that prosecutors said he splurged instead on luxury living, sex workers and a drug habit.

The pleas came on the day jury selection for a trial had been due to start, and hours after Biden had offered to plead guilty in the hope of striking a deal that might keep him out of prison. But no deal materialized and Biden made the pleas in open court.

US District Judge Mark Scarsi set sentencing for December 16. Biden faces up to 17 years in prison and a fine in excess of $1 million. A trial had been expected to re-hash sordid details of a life that the defendant and his family — including the president — have long acknowledged had gone off the rails.

“I will not subject my family to more pain, more invasions of privacy and needless embarrassment,” US media reported Biden saying in a statement. “Prosecutors were focused not on justice but on dehumanizing me for my actions during my addiction.”

Iran's foreign ministry summoned Canberra's man in Iran after the Australian embassy marked Wear It Purple Day with a post saying it was "dedicated to creating a supportive environment" where "LGBTQIA+ youth can feel proud to be themselves".

Iran's foreign ministry said it had summoned Australia's ambassador in Tehran to "strongly condemn" a social media message posted by the embassy supporting LGBTIQ+ rights, in a move that has Canberra "very concerned".

The embassy used an Instagram post on Sunday marking Wear it Purple Day to call for a "brighter, more inclusive future".

Iran's foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday: "Following the publication of offensive content contrary to Iranian and Muslim customs and culture, the Australian ambassador has been summoned to Tehran.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the action of the Australian embassy in publishing this content."

In the statement, the ministry's head of regional affairs was quoted as saying the post was "in violation of international law" and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which "mandates that diplomatic missions respect the laws and regulations of the host country".
